Bacon Egg and Cheese, Savory French Toast
Bacon, Egg and Cheese, FRENCH TOAST, with Spicy Maple Syrup. Recipe below (makes 8)????????????
INGREDIENTS
8 slices of thick cut Texas toast
8 slices of cheese
8 slices of bacon
1/4 cup of mayonnaise
5 beaten eggs or 2 cups of egg beaters
1/4 cup chopped chives
1/4 cup your favorite hot sauce
1 tbsp of each of the following, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika
Season with salt and pepper
For the Spiy Maple Syrup
1/2 cup your favorite maple syrup
2 tbsp hot sauce
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Step 1
Slice the crust off the thick cut bread and then slice it in half.
Step 2
Evenly spread the mayonnaise onto each piece of bread, this is going to help secure the bacon and cheese
Step 3
Place a half slice of cheese on each piece of bread, followed by a slice of cooked bacon cut in half. Then place the other piece of bread on top
Step 4
Combine the eggs, hot sauce, seasonings, and chives in a bowl and then dunk the bacon and cheese sandwich in it, making sure it’s fully coated and submerged.
Step 5
Place the soaked french toast sandwiches, on a medium high skillet and cook for about 2 minutes per side.
Step 6
To make the spicy sauce, combine all the ingredients listed and don’t forget to #neverskipeggday
