Learn how to make Sweet & Tangy Raw Mango Chutney at home with Chef Ruchi on Rajshri Food.
This Mango season make this easy chutney recipe for family and serve it with any Indian Flat Bread.
Ingredients:
1 - Raw Mango ( Peeled & Chopped)
1/2 Chopped Onion
Water
1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Cumin Seed Powder
Salt to taste
1 tbsp jaggery
Method of preparation:
In a mixer jar add Raw Mango, chopped onion, grind them together.
Add some water to it and grind it once again.
The Raw Mango and onion paste is ready.
Add red chili powder, cumin seed powder, salt, jaggery to the paste and grind it again.
Our Raw Mango Chutney is ready.

In this video, I show you how to make a delicious south Indian style mango chutney recipe. What's great about this chutney is that it hits all of the flavour profiles - sweet, sour, bitter, salty, and spicy! It works great as a dipping sauce, flavourful vegan spread for rice cakes and wraps, or more traditionally as a side in a south Indian meal!

Easy Mango Chutney Recipe / Swahili Style

Ingredients:
Raw Mango
Ripe Mango
Green and Red Chili. If you can't find red, green is fine too
Garlic
Coriander
Salt to taste
Put everything in a food processor or blender and process till you get the desired consistency.
That's it and you're done. Super easy and fast, yet sooo delicious.
The combination of the raw and ripe Mango is everything.

A good Mango Chutney Recipe is sweet, spicy and full of flavor! This recipe is so easy you will never have to buy one again. It is so versatile you can add it just about anything.
Makes approx. 4 Cups
Ingredients
165ml (2/3 cup) white wine vinegar
(or alternatively 100ml of vinegar and 65ml of lemon juice)
100g (1/2 cup) brown sugar
1 onion, finely diced
4 cloves garlic, peeled
1 tbs fresh ginger
4 mangoes, peeled and slice
5 cardamom pods bruised (optional)
3 cloves (optional)
1 cinnamon stick (optional)
Chilli to taste (optional)
Directions
Prepare the mangos by chopping them into 1 1/2cm cubes
Chop the onions, finely chop or grate ginger and garlic and bruise the cardamom pods.
Add Vinegar and/or lemon to a saucepan with ginger, garlic, onions, spices and sugar, then bring to a simmer and leave for 30 minutes or until the liquid has reduced by half.
Next add the mangos and bring back to a simmer. Cook it for another 5 minutes, turn the heat off and let the Mango chutney cool, then place it in some sterilized jars.
This Mango chutney can be served with curries and rice and when spread on sandwiches it just lifts the sandwich to another level.

➜ 2 cups fresh mint and coriander leaves, chopped
➜ 2 unripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
➜ 2-3 small green chilies, halved
➜ 1 inch piece of ginger, peeled and chopped
➜ 2 cloves garlic, peeled
➜ 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
➜ Black or regular salt to taste
➜ 1 tablespoon jaggery, chopped
➜ 2 tablespoons water, or as needed
➜ 2 ice cubes
How to make Green Mango Chutney (Raw Mango Chutney)
1. In a blender, add the chopped raw mango pieces, coriander- mint leaves, green chili, garlic, ginger, cumin powder, salt, ice cubes, jaggery, and water.
2. Blend or process the ingredients until you get a smooth, creamy, and thick consistency chutney.
3. Transfer the chutney to a bowl and serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for later use.
NOTES:
Choose the right mangoes: When making raw mango chutney, it is especially important to use fresh and unripe mangoes for the best flavor and texture. Mangoes should be green and hard to touch. The perfect mangoes will ensure that the chutney has a tangy and slightly sour taste and ideal texture. Also, remember to peel the mangoes before chopping them. The skin of unripe mangoes is tough and can be unpleasant to eat.
Adjust the spice level: The amount and the type of green chilies you use in the chutney will determine the level of spiciness. To adjust the spiciness of this chutney you can use green chilies as per your taste. For example, add less chilies if you like it mildly spicy and use more chilies if you want it to be spicier.
