Thinly sliced potatoes are combined with butter, cream and tons of cheese before being baked to a bubbly, golden perfection. Simple to prepare and fantastic for entertaining.

INGREDIENTS
3 ounces Butter
1 garlic clove minced
4 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
2 cups low-fat milk
2 cups shredded white cheddar
5 cups thinly sliced yukon gold potatoes
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350°.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the garlic and cook 1 minute. Whisk in the cornstarch, salt and pepper until smooth.
Gradually add the milk and bring to a boil. Cook the sauce stirring constantly until thickened, approximately 2-3 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in 1 1/2 cups of the cheese until melted. Stir in the potatoes.
Transfer to a 2 quart baking dish coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Cover and bake 30 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 30-45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the sauce is golden brown and bubbling.
Remove from the oven and allow to stand 5-10 minutes before serving.

10½ oz carrots, peeled, thinly sliced
7 oz leeks, thinly sliced into rings
¼ cup parsley, chopped
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup mozzarella cheese, or provolone, monterey jack cheese
10 rashers bacon, thinly sliced
cooking spray
salt and ground black pepper, to taste

Potato ll Carrot and Leek Gratin recipe
Ingedients:
3 (thin) Leeks
5-6 small potatoes
2 grated Carrots
2 tablespoons of flour
300 ml. milk
1 cup of grated cheddar
1 and a half teaspoons of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1 teaspoon of red pepper powder
Preparation:
1.Pour less than half a tea glass of olive oil into a suitable pan and heat. Then, add finely chopped potatoes and sautée by stirring occasionally. The potatoes will not be fully browned, but should be slightly softened.
2.Next, add finely chopped leeks and grated carrots. After that, add Add and spices Roast the leek until it loses its volume.
3.Then, add 2 tablespoons of flour to the mixture and stir. Next, add milk little by little and continue mixing. Cook the meal until it has a completely creamy consistency. Lubricate the medium size tray and poured the meal into it.
4.Flatten the top and sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese.
5.Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven until the cheese melts and turns brown.
6.Wait for a while, then, slice and serve.
