How To make Quick& Easy Boston Cream Pie
1 Package Yellow cake mix
(single layer size) 1 Egg
Water 1/2 Teaspoon Lemon extract
1 Package Vanilla pudding (regular)
1 1/2 Cup Milk
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Can Chocolate frosting
1. Prepare the cake mix using the egg, water, and lemon extract, following label directions. Pour into a greased and floured 8-inch round cake pan.(9-inch is too large and causes cake to be too flat.)
2. Bake at 350?F for time indicated on the cake package, or until the center of the cake springs back when lightly touched. Cool cake in pan on rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely.
3. Prepare pudding mix with milk and vanilla and cook according to package directions. Cover with plastic wrap to prevent skin from forming on top and cool completely.
4. Split layer cake, fill with cooled vanilla pudding, put cake back together and then frost with enough chocolate frosting to cover the top. Store in refrigerator.

A mini version of my favorite dessert, a moist vanilla cake, a creamy filling, and a delicious chocolate ganache topping!

Easy Vanilla Cupcakes:
► 1¼ cup of Flour
► ¾ cup Sugar
► A pinch of Salt
► 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
► ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
► 2 teaspoon of Vanilla
►½ cup Milk
► ¼ cup Oil
► 1 egg
► ½ cup Water
In a bowl add all the dry ingredients and mix.
In another bowl add all the wet ingredients, then add them both together and mix.
Bake in a preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
Once cooled core the cupcakes and fill them with custard cream.
And last dip the filled cupcakes in a chocolate ganache.
Chocolate Ganache:
► 50 grams of chocolate
► ¼ cup of hot heavy cream

Today , I will show you how to prepare a delicious pastry cream cake.
The Boston cream pie (Boston cream cake)
PREPARING THE GENOISE CAKE / SPONGE CAKE (genoise cake recipe)
size : Ø about 19cm / 7.5 inches
Ingredients :
• Eggs : 4
• Caster sugar : ½ CUP (100g)
• Corn-starch: 3 TBSP (30g)
• Flour: ½ CUP (70g)
Beating 4 egg whites and ¼ cup caster sugar (50g)
Beating 4 egg yolks and ¼ cup caster sugar (50g)
Add the sifted corn-starch : 3 TBSP (30g)
Add the sifted flour : ½ CUP (70g )
Pinch of Salt
Pour the mixture into a cake mold / size : About 19cm / 7.5 inches
Bake the genoise for about 30 minutes at 360°F = 180 °C.
How to Make the pastry cream / Crème patissière
Eclair vanilla custard filling:
Milk : 2 CUPS (410g)
Caster Sugar : 1/3 CUP (70g)
Eggs yolks : 4 (70g)
Cornstarch (Maizena) : 5 TBSP (50g)
Cold butter : 30g = 2 TBSP
Vanilla extract: 1 TBSP = 12g
Make the rum syrup:
Caster Sugar : ½ CUP (100g)
Dark rum (such as Meyer’s) : 1 TBSP
Warm water : 1 CUP
Express Chocolate mirror GLAZE, without gelatine.
heavy cream 30% FAT : 1 CUP - 250g – 25cl
honey : 3 TSBP - 60g
Dark chocolate : 150g
(150 grams of chocolate chips = 1 CUP)
Butter (cold) : ¼ CUP - 60g
IMPORTANT: chocolate temperature to soak - About. 37°C / 100°F

This actually isn't a pie but a cake filled with custard and topped with a chocolate glaze.
1 1/4 cup all-purpose sifted flour, 1 cup granulated sugar, 1/3 cup solid shortening,3/4 cup milk, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 large egg.
Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix then add rest of ingredients with mixer beat for 1 minute to combine and 3 minutes till smooth. Use a 9 X 1 1/2 cake pan Bake in a well greased pan dusted with flour. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes. Once baked cool pan for 10 minutes then remove and let cake cool for 1 hour. Fill and glaze
Custard Cream Filling : 1/3 cup granulated sugar, 2 Tablespoon corn starch,1/8 teaspoon salt, 1 1/2 cup milk, 2 large egg yolks beaten, 2 teaspoon vanilla. Combine in a pan cook on stove on medium keep stirring till it boils. Let it boil for one minute then take off stove and put vanilla in and stir. Now apply plastic wrap over pan to prevent skin on custard.
Chocolate Glaze: In bowl 3 Tablespoon melted butter, 9 Tablespoons baking cocoa, 3 Tablespoons oil, 1 cup powder sugar, 3/4 teaspoon vanilla 2 Tablespoon hot water.
Mix till smooth with spoon or mixer. If using unsweetened chocolate use 3 oz. omit baking cocoa and oil. In pan over stove melt unsweetened chocolate and butter and rest of ingredients till smooth. ( Allow to cool) For finished product see Part 2 video.
