$42 FEEDS A FAMILY OF 4 DINNER FOR A WEEK
In this video I made a weeks worth of frugal meals from a Walmart grocery haul for $42. I'm making pulled chicken barbecue sandwiches, and I'm celebrating Cinco de Mayo with some delicious Mexican food recipes. I'm trying creamy cream cheese chicken taquitos. You can easily slim down this menu or expand it to feed more people. This video has tips for frugal living and saving money on groceries.

5 lb bag frozen chicken or fresh (I used fresh) 14.64

1 block extra sharp cheddar cheese - Great Value brand 2
small tub sour cream - Great Value brand 1.16

1 small onion (I used red ) 0.2 - I didn't use this. *optional

1 block cream cheese Great Value brand 1.68
cilantro 0.88
1 jalapeno 0.09
4 corn on the cob cut in half 2
2 pound bag rice -Great Value brand 1.62
broccoli crown 1.68
black beans 1 pound bag - Great Value 1.81
1 can tomato salsa Great Value (in with the tomatoes section) 1.16
flour tortilla shells -10 large Great Value 2.12

SAMPLE MENU
1-2 DINNERS Pulled barbecue chicken sandwiches with coleslaw and corn on the cob
~chicken Tostadas w/ chicken, refried beans, cabbage, cilantro, and any other toppings you want
~ creamy cream cheese chicken taquitos w/ rice and beans
~chicken bowl with /broccoli, and cabbage
~ cheese enchiladas with rice and beans
~ bean chimichangas with flour tortillas
OTHER IDEAS FOR DINNERS WITH THESE INGREDIENTS
~cheese quesadillas
~chicken tortilla soup
~chicken salad in a tortilla bowl (make with flour tortilla)
~salsa chicken - serve with rice and broccoli - 2 chicken breasts- pound out and cut each breast in half.
*Conserve the cheese. Don't set it out for the family to use to top dishes with.
COLESLAW
1/2 small cabbage
½ cup mayonnaise/dressing
1 tablespoon white vinegar
½ tablespoon cider vinegar
2 teaspoons sugar
½ teaspoon celery seeds
Mix up dressing in bowl and top finely shredded cabbage. Will last several days in fridge.
CHEESE TAQUITOS
12 corn tortillas
6 ounces cream cheese
1/3 cup sour cream
salsa to taste -start with 1/4 cup
1/4 cup shredded cheddar or less (try to conserve cheese for other meals)
1/4 cup chopped green onion
Heat tortillas in a small amount of oil first so that they won't crack when you roll the taquitos.
Mix all ingredients in bowl and then put small amount in tortilla and roll up. Fry to desired level of crispness then serve with salsa.
PULLED CHICKEN BARBECUE SANDWICHES
season 2 breasts with garlic salt and paprika. Place in crockpot with a small amount of water, or spray the crockpot to keep the chicken from sticking. Let cook in crockpot on high until finished, or low heat for longer time. Halfway through cooking add in half the bottle of barbecue sauce to cover the chicken. Every crockpot is different but you'll know when the breasts are done if internal temp is 165 or when you cut it in half the chicken is white and juices run clear. There shouldn't be any pink on the inside.
When it's finished, shred the chicken.
CROCKPOT TACO CHICKEN
season 2 breasts with taco seasoning. Place in crockpot with a small amount of water, or spray the crockpot to keep the chicken from sticking. Let cook in crockpot on high until finished or if you want to cook low and slow, then cook on low until finished.

BLACK BEAN TACOS
do a rough mash on some seasoned black beans (with salt) . Fill corn tortillas with black beans, shredded cabbage, cilantro, jalapeño slices, green onions, and the sauce.

15 Best Balinese Food || Local Foods You Must Try When Visiting Bali
Thousands of islands with different cultures make up Indonesia, so it's no wonder that Balinese food is just as diverse. To complement your holiday experience in Bali, you would not want to miss out on some of its most popular dishes.
1. Sate Lilit (00:22)
Made from either minced beef, chicken, fish, pork, or even turtle meat, it's mixed with coconut, coconut milk, and a rich blend of spices. The satay is then wrapped around bamboo, sugarcane or lemongrass sticks before it's grilled over charcoal.
2. Nasi campur (00:49)
A plate of white rice comes with different elements, such as a portion of babi guling, betutu, mixed vegetables, and a dab of spicy sambal matah.
3. Bebek and ayam betutu (01:19)
Betutu is the slow-cooked of duck or chicken. This iconic Balinese dish consists of a whole chicken (ayam) or duck (bebek) stuffed with traditional spices, wrapped in banana leaves, then enveloped tight in the bark of a banana trunk.
4. Babi guling (01:48)
Babi guling is an consisting of spit-roast pig stuffed with rich traditional spices and vegetable mixes such as cassava leaves, slowly rolled over a coal fire. guling means to roll in Indonesian. The crisp brown skins are prized, while the meat is a tender and juicy treat.
5. Tum (02:23)
Consists of minced chicken or beef, put together with mashed spices and herbs like garlic, shallots, chilis, bay leaves, gingers, lemongrass, and more. Everything is put together compactly in the banana leaf, making it convenient to eat as a main course or snack on the go.
6. Sambal Matah (02:50)
Shallots, garlic, and chilis, which are common ingredients for Indonesian hot sauces, are chopped or blended, giving it a delightful texture. The secret for the fresh sensation is the touch of lime leaves and lemongrass.
7. Lawar (03:30)
Lawar is a mix of finely chopped meat, vegetables, grated coconut and spices. In some areas of Bali, this traditional dish is prepared by mixing fresh animal blood with meat and spices to strengthen the flavour.
8. Mujair Nyat-nyat (04:03)
Mujair is the name of a fish, which processing freshwater fish named Mujair. Due to its special processing, the food is called “Nyat Nyat”, which derived from the word ‘receding’ or ‘shrinking’. In addition, the method of processing is also cooked until the spices shrink and are fully absorbed into the meat.
9. Nasi Jinggo (04:42)
It comes in small portions, they say you can fit a portion of nasi jinggo in the palm of your hand, and it seems just about right. Consisting of rice, vegetables, and a side dish and condiment wrapped together inside a banana leaf, Usually, the side dish options are shredded chicken, egg, or noodles.
10. Rujak Kuah Pindang (05:22)

12. Plecing Kangkung (06:52)
Plecing Kangkung is made of steam water lily with chili and tomato sauce. Plecing kangkung is normally served cold, not right away after it’s cooked.
13. Serombotan (07:10)
It made of mix boiled vegetables added with grated coconut mixed with spices and chili sauce with lime juice.
14. Rujak Bulung (07:35)
Rujak Bulung (Seaweed) is one of the top favorite dishes among the people of Bali. Aside from having Rujak Bulung for its mouthwatering tang, the Balinese generally eat this dish when they’re experiencing nausea attributable to its ability to get rid of sickness and vomiting.
15. Traditional desserts (08:04)
Traditional desert in Bali are collectively called jajanan pasar. There are plenty of jajanan pasar to choose from, which mainly use rice flour, glutinous rice, palm sugar, and coconut. Some of the most common desserts in Bali
