BURNT MISO BROWN BUTTER COOKIES
Ingredients:
113 grams butter, 1/2 cup
2 tbsp white miso or light miso
118 grams brown sugar, spooned and packed, about ½ cup & 2 tbsp
2 tbsp milk of choice
1 large egg at room temperature
50 grams white sugar, 1/4 cup
1 tsp vanilla extract
175 grams flour, spooned and leveled, 1 & 1/4 cup
8 grams cornstarch, 1 tbsp
1 ½ tsp baking powder
113 grams dark chocolate, about 1 bar, chopped

Chocolate Chip Black Sesame Cookies | Easy Chewy Recipe
These cookies are made with black sesame paste (black tahini). They are beautiful, moist and have a taste similar to a peanut butter cookie. Be sure to dip them in milk, you won’t be sorry!

Black tahini is made from black sesame seeds that are roasted and ground, which gives this variety of tahini a toasty flavor.

Ingredients:
150g flour
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2c (1 stick) butter, room temperature
1/2c (120ml/4oz) black sesame paste/tahini*
1/4c granulated sugar
3/4c dark brown sugar
1 large egg, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
1c chocolate chips (we used a mix of milk chocolate & white chocolate)
Sprinkle of sea salt flakes
We got our black sesame paste at a local store, but you can also find some on amazon:

Instructions:
1. Combine butter & sugars. Mix until fluffy (about 2 minutes)
2. Add egg & mix until incorporated (about 2 minutes)
3. Add tahini, vanilla extract & kosher salt - mix for another minute.
4. Add flour and baking soda - mix until combined
5. Fold in chocolate chips
6. Chill in refrigerator 2-24 hours.
7. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper & preheat oven to 350F
8. Scoop cookies onto sheets, space 2” apart & pat down slightly
9. Bake 10-12 minutes (less if making smaller cookies)
10. Cool ON pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack
11. Sprinkle with a bit of sea salt flakes (this levels them up!)
