Fudge Recipe * Foolproof Fudge * Easy
This is a really easy fudge recipe and it tastes great. I always add fudge to my holiday baking list. Check out my video and if you make this fudge, let me know what you think.
Foolproof Fudge (makes 30 pieces)
4 / ½ cups sugar
1 (12) oz can evaporated milk
18 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons vanilla
½ pound butter (room temperature)
1 to 2 cups chopped nuts (Optional)
Place butter, chocolate chips, vanilla and nuts in a large bowl. Set aside. In a large (5 quart) heavy saucepan, bring sugar and milk to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil and continue stirring for 8 minutes (mixture will bubble up). Pour milk mixture over chocolate mixture and stir to blend. Beat with electric mixer approximately 2 minutes until smooth and creamy. Pour into a greased or parchment lined 9” x 12” pan. (Recipe is from The Sugar Association.)
