How To make Zesty Hamburgers
1 lb extra lean ground beef
4 tsps prepared horseradish
2 tsps Dijon mustard
3 tbsps fat-free sour cream

1 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp salt :
optional
4 hamburger buns -- split
In a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients; mix well. Shape into four patties. Pan-fry, grill or boil until no longer pink. Serve on buns.

Recipe: Spicy Chicken Burger
Ingredients for 4 portions
4 skinless chicken breasts
1 tbsp olive oil
8 tbsp Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce with Roasted Garlic
4 slices cheddar cheese
4 burger buns, halved and cut side toasted
4 tbsp mayonnaise
2 pickled jalapeno chillies from a jar, sliced
little gem leaves
Place the chicken between 2 sheets of cling film and beat with a rolling pin until about 1.5 – 1cm thick. Heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan and cook the chicken for 3 – 4 minutes on each side. Pour in the Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce with Roasted Garlic and bubble for another couple of minutes, then top each piece of chicken with a slice of cheese, leave the cheese to melt for a couple of minutes.
Top the base of each burger bun with little gem leaves, then add the chicken breast, spooning over the leftover warm teriyaki sauce. Top each with a spoonful of mayo and a few pickled jalapenos, before covering with the top of the bun.
TO BBQ:
Brush the bashed-out chicken breasts with oil and cook for 4 minutes on each side. Remove from the grill and brush with the teriyaki sauce. Return to the grill and cook for a further couple of minutes on each side, basting with extra sauce. Top with a piece of cheese and cook until just melting before adding to the bun.

►For the Chicken
2 medium size chicken breasts or thighs
2 greaseproof papers and a rolling pin or meat tenderizer
1 tsp. black-pepper
1 tsp. smoked paprika
1 tsp. cayenne or red chilli pepper
1 tsp. red chilli powder
1/2 tsp. salt
►For the Flour
240 grams plain flour (around 2 cups)
2 tsp black-pepper
1 tsp. white-pepper
1 tsp. cayenne or red chilli powder
1 tbsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. onion powder
1 tbsp. salt
Cold water in a large bowl
►Ingredients for the Spicy Sauce
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. plain flour
2 cups chicken stock
half tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. hot sauce
1/2 tsp. black-pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. smoked paprika powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
►Other things that you will need
1 litre sunflower or vegetable oil for frying
1 tsp. dried oregano
4 seeded buns
Mayonnaise as required
Thinly sliced Iceberg lettuce
Few bowls
