How To make African Vegetable Stew
Ingredients

large
onion
1
bunch
swiss chard
1
can
garbanzo beans
1/2
cup
raisins
1/2
cup
rice, raw
2
each
yams, also know as sweet potatoes
1
clove
garlic
1
salt, to taste
1
pepper, to taste
1
hot pepper sauce, to taste
Directions:
Fry onion, garlic and white stems of chard until barely limp. Add chopped greens and fry a bit.
Either peel the yams or scrub them well with a vegetable brush, then slice them into thick slices. Add garbanzos, raisins, yams, tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cook a couple of minutes.
Make a well in the center of the mixture in the pot. Put the rice in the well and pat it down until it's wet. Cover and cook until rice is done, about 25 minutes. Add Tabasco sauce to taste.
NOTES:
A spicy vegetable stew - easy to make.
Some find that the flavors of the vegetables don't stand out unless you put in a lot of Tabasco

Blended Peppers - 3 large red bell peppers, 2 scotch bonnet and 1 onion
1/4 Cup Palm Oil
2 Tbsp blended crayfish
2 Tablespoon locust bean
About 2 handfuls of shredded stock Fish
1 handful of dried Prawn
1 medium size Onion- diced
1 seasoning Cube

4 Red Bell Peppers (Tatashe)
5 Chilli Peppers (Shombo)
2 Scotch Bonnet (Rodo)
1 Cup Palm Oil
2 Onions
Assorted meats of your choice (Shaki, Kpomo, cow leg, smoked turkey or beef are ideal)
Stockfish (Panla) or Smoked Fish
3 tbsp Locust Beans (Iru)
1/2 cup raw/cooked Prawns (Optional)
1/2 cup Smoked Prawns (Optional)
Seasoning Cubes
3 tbs Ground Crayfish
Salt to Taste

HOW TO MAKE EFORIRO SOUP // VEGETABLE SOUP
* 2kg Goat meat or beef(Goat meat works best)
* 1 kg beef( flanken style ribs)
* 2 cups water
* ½ kg shaki and kpomo
* 2 knorr beef cube to season beef
* 1 teaspoon salt
* Handful of chopped onion
* Smoked fish
* Stock fish flakes(soaked in hot water for 1 hour)
* 2 bunch fresh Efo shoko or spinach
* Pepper mix
* 3 medium bell Peppers
* 4-5 scotch bonnet pepper(add according to heat tolerance)
* ½ cup palm oil
* Handful of chopped onion
* 2 tablespoons iru
* 2 tablespoons crayfish
