In this easy banana bread recipe, we use very basic ingredients which are most likely already in your pantry and we use no special equipments to make this moist banana bread.
We use very ripe bananas for making this banana bread.If you want to swap chocolate chips for nuts you can use some chopped walnuts or pecans instead.And to add some flavor you can add some cinnamon powder if you wish.
When we use the chemical leaveners in the right amount and using the gentle folding method while mixing, we will get The Best,soft and fluffy Chocolate chip banana bread.
This chocolate chip banana bread batter can be prepared in less than 10 minutes.
The method of making this chocolate chip banana bread is so simple.
Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt ;and keep it aside.
Then into medium bowl add in the bananas and mash them.

This chocolate chips banana bread is so soft and delicious. Perfect use for your overripe bananas. Great for breakfast or snack.
Recipe serves 8
1 1/2 Cups all purpose flour
1 Tsp baking soda
1/2 Tsp baking powder
1/2 Tsp salt
1 Tsp vanilla extract
1/2 Cup butter-softened
3/4 Cup sugar
2 Eggs-room temperature
4 very ripe bananas- mashed
1 Cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 Cup unsweetened coconut flakes-optional
Bake 350F/176C for 55 minutes.

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread (The BEST Recipe)
Moist, fluffy, with so much banana and chocolate flavor - THIS is the BEST Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Recipe you'll EVER eat. It's from my mom's recipe - and it's SO easy and really the only bread we ever make.
PRINTABLE RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS
1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
2 medium overripe bananas
2 large eggs
7 tablespoons sour milk or buttermilk (To make sour milk: add 1 teaspoon vinegar to milk and let sit 5 minutes)
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups (248g) all-purpose flour
2 cups (340g) chocolate chips, divided
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 9x5with nonstick cooking spray. You can use an 8×4-inch loaf pan and make 1-2 muffins alongside.
Cream butter and sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer (and hand mixer is okay too).
Add the bananas, eggs, sour milk, and baking soda to a blender. Mix until liquefied. Alternately, mash the bananas with a fork and then stir the eggs, milk, and baking soda into the bananas.
Pour half of the banana mixture into the butter mixture with 1 cup of flour and mix until just combined. Repeat with the rest of the liquid and flour. Do not overmix!
Stir in 1 ½ cups chocolate chips.
Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips. Bake approximately 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean (test right next to the crack).
