How To make Barbecued Chicken Sandwich(Gr)
2 whole (3 1/2-pound) chickens
3 tablespoons dry rub #1
dry rub #1:
1 tablespoon paprika hungarian
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon sage
1/2 teaspoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder
:
barbecue sauce-- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 1/2 cups cider vinegar
1 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons dry rub #1
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup coffee
1 tablespoon mustard
2 cloves minced garlic
Dry Rub: Mix all ingredients well and reserve in refrigerator, covered tightly. Will keep for up to 2 weeks.
Barbecue Sauce: In a saucepan, heat peanut oil. Add garlic and onion. Cook until soft. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until thickened.
Chicken: Rub the chicken inside and out, with dry rub #1, making sure to get under the skin as much as possible. Massage the bird well and refrigerate overnight.
Prepare the grill with soaked wood chips. Split the chicken in half and cook on the grill over slow heat for 45 minutes or until cooked.
Allow the chicken to cool slightly. Pick the meat off the bone, remove the skin. Chop the chicken lightly and mix with 1 cup of the barbecue sauce. Serve on white bun with cole slaw.

Chicken Club Sandwich Recipe | चिकन क्लब सैंडविच | Chef Sanjyot Keer
Written recipe for Chicken club sandwich
Prep time: 25 mins
Cooking time: 30 mins
Serves: 4
Grilled chicken
Ingredients:
• Chicken breast 500gm
• Olive oil 1 tsp
Method:
• Slice the chicken breast in 2 halves horizontally, flatten the chicken breast with the help of the back of a knife.
• Make incision on the meat and season with salt & pepper, apply some ginger garlic paste on both the sides.
• Heat oil in the grill pan and cook the marinated chicken from both sides until golden brown.
• Slice the chicken into thin strips.
Garlic mayonnaise
Ingredients:
• Mayonnaise 1 cup
• Black pepper powder a pinch
• Garlic cloves 3-4 nos. (chopped)
• Parsley 1 tsp
Method:
• In a mixing bowl add mayonnaise, black pepper powder, chopped garlic and freshly chopped parsley. Keep aside.
Caramelized onions
Ingredients:
• Oil 1 tsp + butter 1 tbsp
• Onion 3-4 medium size (sliced)
• Salt a pinch
Methods:
• Heat oil and butter in a pan, add sliced onions and salt a pinch, cook until onions are caramelized, add little water if the onions get too dry.
Assembly
Ingredient:
• Butter
• Bread slices (6 nos.)
• Garlic mayonnaise
• Lettuce leaves
• Tomato slices
• Grilled chicken
• Caramelized onions
• Seasoned half fried eggs
Method:
• Heat butter on tawa, toast the bread slice on both the sides. Remove it from pan, spread the garlic mayonnaise on the toasted slice, add the lettuce leaves, grilled chicken strips and top with caramelized onions, place another slice of toasted bread, spread garlic mayonnaise on both the sides, add the lettuce leaves, slices of tomatoes, salt to taste and top it with seasoned half fried egg. Place another toasted bread slice with the garlic mayonnaise spread facing inside to make a sandwich.
• Slice into four triangles and insert tooth pick to hold the fillings, serve with ketchup and potato chips or fries on side.

Ingredients for Chicken Sandwich in Desi Style
1 Tbsp Butter
1 Tbsp Chopped Garlic
150 Gms Boneless Chicken
Half Tsp Salt
1 Green Chilli
1 Onion
Half Carrot
3 Tbsp Cabbage
Small Capsicum
1 Tsp Chilli Powder
1 Tsp Soya Sauce
1 Tsp Lemon Juice
¼ Tsp Black Pepper Powder
2 Cheese Cubes
1 Tbsp Tomato Ketchup
Bread
Mayonnaise
Butter
Chilli Flakes
Coriander

Bread slices stuffed with creamy chicken mixture and grilled to perfection.
CREAMY GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH
Ingredients
2 boneless chicken breasts
8 ciabatta slices
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
1 tablespoon butter + as required
½ teaspoon oil
1 large onion, sliced and layers separated
1 cup sliced button mushrooms
2 tablespoons fresh cream
¾ tablespoon mustard paste
1-2 fresh oregano sprigs
30 grams mozzarella cheese
35 grams cheddar cheese
Method
1. Make incisions on the chicken breasts. Sprinkle salt and crushed peppercorns on them. Add ½ teaspoon Tabasco sauce and 1 tablespoon garlic and rub well. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.
2. Heat some butter and oil in a non-stick pan. Add the chicken and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side. Transfer the chicken on a plate and set aside.
3. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in the same pan. Add remaining garlic and sauté for a minute.
4. Add onion, mix and sauté till light brown. Add mushrooms, mix and cook for 2 minutes.
5. Add salt and crushed peppercorns, mix well and switch off heat. Cool.
6. Shred the cooked chicken with the help of a fork and transfer in a bowl. Add the sautéed mushroom mixture and mix.
7. Add cream, mustard paste and remaining Tabasco sauce and mix well. Adjust salt and add oregano.
8. Cut mozzarella cheese into small cubes and add. Cut cheddar into small chunks and add and mix well.
9. Apply butter on ciabatta slices and place a portion of the chicken mixture onto 4 slices. Cover with remaining slices and apply some more butter on top.
10. Preheat a sandwich griller. Place the prepared sandwiches on it, cover and grill till grill marks appear on both sides.
11. Cut into halves and serve hot.
