How To make Barbecued Chicken Sandwich
2 whole chickens( 3 1/2 pounds each)
3 tablespoons dry rub #1
Barbecue sauce ****** Dry Rub #1 ****** 1 tablespoon paprka, Hungarian
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon sage
1/2 teaspoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder
****** Barbecue Sauce ****** 1 tablespoon peanut oil
2 tablespoons onion
minced
1 1/2 cups cider vinegar
1 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons dry rub #1
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup coffee
1 tablespoon mustard
2 cloves garlic :
minced
Mix all ingredients well and reserve in refrigerator, covered tightly. Will keep for up to 2 weeks.
Barbecue Sauce:
In a saucepan, heat peanut oil. Add garlic and onion. Cook until soft. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until thickened. Rub the chicken inside and out, with dry rub #1, making sure to get under the skin as much as possible. Massage the bird well and refrigerate overnight. Prepare the grill with soaked wood chips. Split the chicken in half and cook on the grill over slow heat for 45 minutes or until cooked. Allow the chicken to cool slightly. Pick the meat off the bone, remove the skin. Chop the chicken lightly and mix with 1 cup of the barbecue sauce. Serve on white bun with cole slaw.

BBQ Chicken Sandwich - Slow Cooker Recipe
3 chicken breast's
1 cup of chicken broth or 1 cup of water seasoned with 1 tbsp of chicken Bouillon.
Heat up the crock pot/slow cooker on high for 10 mins. Pour in your broth or seasoned water and let heat up for 20 mins with lid on.
Place the chicken in the pot and cover with the lid and cook for 3 1/2 hours.
After cook time, remove the juices in the crock pot for use of broth or future cooks. (This helps add flavor)
shred the chicken and pour in a bottle of bbq sauce. Mix together well.
Take a good fluffy bun and add a healthy portion of chicken on the bottom slice of the bun. Top with coleslaw and your favorite toppings.

▪️ 1 1/4 cup barbecue sauce (We love Sweet Baby Ray's Honey BBQ:
▪️ 1/2 cup Italian dressing (I use this one:
▪️ 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
▪️ 1/4 cup light brown sugar (can use less or omit if you prefer it less sweet)
▪️ 1 tbsp garlic powder
▪️ 1 tbsp onion powder
▪️ salt and pepper, to taste
