Cherry Crumble/Crumble Recipe
Today I made a delicious cherry crumble. I will show you how to make this cherry crumble from scratch. You can use fresh cherries, canned cherries or frozen cherries with this recipe. I used fresh cherries!
Recipe for cherry sauce:
2 cups fresh cherries
1/2 cup sugar
juice of half lemon
3/4 cup water
2 tsp corn starch
Crumble recipe:
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
Batter recipe:
1/2 cup melted butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
100g yogurt (optional)

Easy, Mindful & Delicious Baked Blackberry Crumble Bars | Cupcake Jemma Channel
Welcome back to another Mindful Bake with Sally, where we go back to basics and remember all the reasons we began baking in the first place. This week we're making Blackberry Crumble Bars - because Blackberries are in season, and what's more mindful than picking berries in the great outdoors?? But don't worry you can bake this all year round by picking up some (any) berries from the store, or using your favourite flavour of Jam.

The dish that Sally used is 27cm x 20cm x 4cm

Preheat Oven 170C
300g Blackberries
50g Caster Sugar
Squeeze of Lemon Juice
100g Oats
100g Caster Sugar
100g Light Brown Sugar
230g Plain Flour
1/2tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Small Egg
130g Unsalted Butter Melted

For a larger 10 x 10 dish:
Preheat Oven 170C
450g Blackberries
75g Caster Sugar
Squeeze of Lemon Juice
150g Oats
150g Caster Sugar
150g Light Brown Sugar
350g Plain Flour
3/4tsp Salt
3/4 tsp Cinnamon
3/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Large Egg
200g Unsalted Butter Melted

Chocolate Cherry Crumble Cake | Super Easy Recipe | Harmonika HK
Chocolate Cherry Crumble Cake
Method:
Cake Layer:
- Take 150gm Cherries de-seed them & slit them diagonally
- In a mixing bowl take 2 Eggs & 1/2 cup Sugar
- Use a Beater, to beat the ingredients till the sugar
Is completely dissolved
- In a small bowl take 50gm Butter & 75gm Dark Chocolate
Melt them together in the Oven or a Double Boiler
- Let the chocolate mixture cool down before adding it
to the Cake batter. Mix the all item together
- Take a Sieve & add 1 cup Flour, 2tsp Cocoa Powder
1tsp Baking Powder, 1/2tsp Baking Soda & 1/2tsp Salt. Sift the dry contents into the batter & Fold all the items together
- Add 1/4 cup Oil & Mix
- Take a Cake Mould line it with Parchment Paper. Add the batter to the mould & even it out. Tap it gently so to make the cake layer uniform
Cherry Layer:

Add de-seeded Cherries (150gm) on top of the cake layer & add slit Almonds
Crumble:
- Add 1/2 cup Maida, 2tbs Cocoa Powder, 4tbs Powdered
Sugar, 1tsp Salt & 4tbs Almond Flour in a medium bowl
- Add 75gm of Cold Butter cut it into small pieces & add
- Use a beater to incorporate the ingredients together for the crumble
. Do not over beat otherwise the butter will melt.
- Add the crumble evenly on top of the cherry layer
- Bake at 180°C
for
40-45 mins

For the cake:
2 eggs
1/2 cup (100 gr) sugar
1 cup (235 ml) milk (I used whole milk)
1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable oil
1 lemon, finely grated zest
2 cups (250 gr) all-purpose flour
1/2 tablespoon baking powder
pinch sea salt
1 cup * (120 gr) pitted and halved cherries
*you can use 1 to 2 cups
For the crumble:
1/2 cup (60 gr) all-purpose flour
1/4 cup (40 gr) corn meal
1/4 cup (50 gr) sugar
2 oz (65 gr) unsalted butter, cold cut in cubes

1/4 cup Oil
2 Eggs
