Turkish Rice Pilaf :
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups basmati rice
hot water to soak rice for 30 min
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp oil
1/4 cup vermicelli
4 cups hot stock
1 tsp salt (per taste)
this rice is so fluffy.
Easy Rice Pilaf with Peas:
Ingredients:
2 tbsp oil or butter
1/4 cup onion chopped
1 clove garlic slices
1 cup Rice (long grain or Basmati)
2 cups hot chicken broth ( vegetable broth or water)
1 tsp salt
cook 20 mins in low heat
Turn off heat
1 cup peas (fresh or frozen)
cover and let is stand for 10 min.
The rice is so fluffy and delicious.
Turmeric Rice:
Ingredients:
1 cup Basmati rice
2 tbsp oil
1/2 cup onion chopped
1 tsp garlic ginger paste
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp chili powder/ smoked paprika
2 cup water
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup cilantro chopped
This is truly a great recipe.
CILANTRO LIME RICE
Ingredients:
1 cup basmati rice
wash and rinse and soak for 30 min.
2 tbsp oil
1 bay leaf
2 cups chicken stock
1 tsp salt
wait till all the stock absorbs and cover and lower the heat to low. cook for 20 min. turn off the heat. Then
1 tablespoon butter
1 lime zest
1 lime juice
1/2 cup cilantro chopped
mix and you are done.

Brown Rice Pulao | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana
Pulaos are a great option to prepare for a quick lunch or dinner. Here's a pulao recipe that is made with the goodness of brown rice, mushrooms and some other veggies to comfort you instantly. Serve alongside a bowl of raita and enjoy!
BROWN RICE PULAO
Ingredients
1½ cups Daawat Quick Cooking Brown Basmati Rice
2 tbsps ghee
1 inch cinnamon stick
1 bay leaf
8-10 black peppercorns
5-6 cloves
2-3 green cardamoms
1 tsp cumin seeds
2-3 green chillies, slit
1 medium carrot, peeled cut into ½ inch diamonds
8-10 small cauliflower florets
4-5 French beans, stringed and diagonally cut into ½ inch pieces
3-4 button mushrooms, quartered
A pinch of red chilli powder
A large pinch of turmeric powder
Salt to taste
¼ cup shelled green peas
1½ tbsps chopped fresh coriander
Coriander sprig for garnish
Boondi raita for serving
Method
1. Take Daawat Quick Cooking Brown Basmati Rice in a bowl. Add sufficient water and wash for 2-3 times.
2. Add sufficient water and soak for 25-30 minutes. Drain the water.
3. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add cinnamon stick, bay leaf, black peppercorns, cloves, green cardamoms, and cumin seeds and sauté till fragrant.
4. Add green chillies and sauté for 1 minute. Add carrot, cauliflower, French beans and button mushrooms and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
5. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
6. Add green peas and soaked brown rice and mix with light hand. Add 2½ cups hot water and mix well.
7. Add coriander leaves, mix lightly, cover and cook on high heat for 15 minutes.
8. Transfer on a serving plate, garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot with boondi raita.

Stir Fried Veggies With Brown Fried Rice Recipe | Chef Sanjyot Keer
Written recipe for Stir fried veggies with brown fried rice
Prep time: 15 mins
Cooking time: 25 mins
Serves: 4
For Brown fried rice
Ingredients:
• Oil 1 tbsp
• Spring onion 1 tbsp (chopped)
• Garlic 1 tbsp (chopped)
• Carrot ½ cup (chopped)
• Mixed bell peppers ½ cup (chopped)
• Sweet corn ½ cup
• Soy sauce 1tsp
• Vinegar 1tsp
• Salt to taste
• Black pepper a pinch
• Sugar 1tsp
• Cooked brown rice 2 cups
• Spring onion greens 2 tbsp
Method:
• Heat oil in a wok, add spring onions and garlic, sauté on medium flame for a minute.
• Add the veggies and cook them for 2-3 minutes on high flame.
• Add the sauces, salt, black pepper and sugar, cook on high flame for a minute.
• Add the cooked brown rice and spring onion greens, stir and cook for 2 minutes on high flame.
For Stir fried veggies
Ingredients:
• Oil 1 tbsp
• Spring onion 1 tbsp (chopped)
• Garlic 4 tbsp (chopped)
• Ginger 1 tbsp (chopped)
• Baby corn ½ cup (boiled)
• Bell peppers ½ cup (diced)
• Carrots ½ cup (roundels)
• Broccoli ½ cup (blanched)
• Mushroom ½ cup (quarters)
• Sugar 1 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Black pepper a pinch
• Soy sauce
• Vinegar
• Green chilly sauce 1 tsp
• Water 300 ml
• Corn starch 1 tbsp + water 2 tbsp
• Spring onion greens 2 tbsp
Method:
• Heat oil in a wok, add spring onions, garlic and ginger, sauté them on medium flame for a minute.
• Add all the veggies and sugar, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
• Add salt, pepper, soy sauce, vinegar and green chilly sauce, give it a nice stir and add water.
• Mix cornstarch and water and add the mixture, cook until sauce thickens.
• Add spring onion greens and mix well.
• Your Stir fried veggies with brown fried rice is ready to be served, serve hot in separate bowls and enjoy them by pouring the stir-fried veggies over rice.

Ingredients:
6-7 pieces of garlic
1/2 onion
80g broccolini
1/4 red bell pepper
3 tbsp avocado oil
pinch crushed pepper flakes
1/4 cup corn
1 1/2 cups basmati rice (cooked)
1 tsp turmeric
pinch of salt
Directions:
1. Finely chop the garlic, onion, broccolini, and red bell pepper
2. Heat up a nonstick pan to medium low heat. Add 2 tbsp of avocado oil
3. Cook the garlic and onions for 6-7min. Add the crushed pepper flakes
4. Set the garlic and onions aside. Heat the pan to medium heat and add 1 tbsp of avocado oil
5. Sauté the broccolini and red bell pepper for a couple of minutes. Add the corn, basmati rice, turmeric, salt, and the cooked garlic and onions. Sauté for 2-3min
6. Plate and sprinkle with some more crushed pepper flakes
