TIMINGS:
• Prep Time: 10 mins.
• Cook Time: 50 mins.
• Total Time: 60 mins.
SERVINGS:
• Makes a 10 slice loaf.
INGREDIENTS:
• 1½ cups + 2 tbsp (250g/8½oz) Wholemeal Flour.
• ¼ cup + 3 tbsps (75g/3oz) Plain White Flour.
• 1½ tsp of Baking Soda/Bread Soda.
• ½ tsp Salt.
• ¼ cup (30g/1oz) Porridge Oats.
• 2 tbsp Sunflower Seeds.
• 2 tbsp Pumpkin Seeds.
• 1½ cups + 1 tbsp (370ml/12½ fl oz) Buttermilk.
• 1½ tbsp Rapeseed/Sunflower Oil.
• 1 Egg.
• 1 tbsp Honey.
• 1 tsp Porridge Oats.
• 2 tsp Sunflower and Pumpkin Seeds.
METHOD:
1. Preheat the oven to:
• Fan Oven: 170°C/340°F.
• Oven: 190°C/380°F.
• Gas Mark 5.
2. In a medium-sized mix together the wholemeal flour, plain flour, baking soda, salt, porridge oats, pumpkin and sunflower seeds.
3. In another jug mix together the buttermilk, rapeseed oil, egg and honey.
4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until fully combined and you get a ‘sloppy’ consistency.
5. Pour in a well-greased 2Ib/900g loaf tin.
6. Using a wet spoon, level the top of the mixture.
7. Sprinkle the top of the bread with some extra porridge oats and pumpkin & sunflower seeds.
8. Bake for 50-60 mins and check with a skewer to ensure it’s fully cooked.
9. Remove from the oven and allow the bread to cool down for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
10. Serve with butter and your favourite marmalade or jam.

STORAGE:
• This bread stays fresh for 4-5 days in an airtight container.
• Can be kept frozen for up to 3 months.

Wonderful seed bread! Eggless, low-carb and gluten-free!
Are you ready for the healthiest bread ever? because this seed brown bread is gluten-free and yet very easy to make! It doesn’t need any proofing or any yeast nor does it need any baking powder! It is also packed with nutrients good oils, and protein, and it is also low in carbs!
Wonderful seed bread! Eggless, low-carb and gluten-free!
INGREDIENTS:
150g oatmeal
130 g sunflower seeds
100 g flax seeds (50% of them are ground)
60g chopped hazelnuts
20g pumpkin seeds
20g chia seeds
20g psyllium husks
1 tsp salt
1 - 2 tbsp agave syrup
3 tablespoons olive oil
350ml warm water
METHOD:
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, and allow the dough to rest from 2 to 24 hours.
Line and grease a 25cm mold, then add the bread dough, pack it in gently and flatten the surface.
Bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius, remove the bread from the oven, flip it, and add some oatmeal on the top, then bake it for 30-40 minutes more at 200 degrees Celsius.
VERY IMPORTANT: Before cutting, allow to cool completely, otherwise the bread will fall apart!
CUPS CONVERSION:
1 cup = 250 ml / 8.45 oz
1/2 cup = 125 ml / 4.22 oz
1/3 cup = 85 ml / 2.87 oz
1/4 cup = 60 ml / 2.02 oz

I tried making this bread, both in loaf pan and open bake.If you prefer a sunflower sandwich loaf, you can make it in a loaf pan or if you like a rustic crust, then bake it open or using a dutch oven.
Personally I like the open bake bread, made like sunflower bloomer bread which has crispy crust and soft and creamy crumb inside with lots of sunflower seeds in between.And when we bake we bake it open, it requires slightly less baking time than that we need when we bake seed bread in a loaf pan.
