1 Cantaloupe, honeydew or -Crenshaw melon - or a -combination - peeled, -seeded, cut into large -chunks and chilled 1/2 c Ice water 1/4 c Tightly packed mint leaves 8 Ice cubes 2 T Freshly squeezed lime juice 1/8 t Fine sea salt (opt) From "May All Be Fed." Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately, as the cooler will separate upon standing. Makes about 3 1/2 cups.

Cantaloupe Basil Cooler
In this video we're making a delicious handmade cocktail. It's a cantaloupe vodka cooler that is muddled with fresh basil leaves.
Full Recipe + Ingredients: 10 basil leaves 1/2 teaspoon sugar 2 ounces vodka 6 ounces cantaloupe juice Ice
Add the basil, sugar, and some of the vodka to a mixing glass. Muddle, careful not to overwork the basil and bruise it.

Fill the glass about 2/3 full with crushed ice.
Add remaining vodka and the cantaloupe juice. Stir and enjoy!
