How To make Carob/Choc. Chip Cookies
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups pastry flour
1 cup butter, unsalted
2 cups turbo (unprocessed sugar/"blonde")
2 whole eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups whole oat flour, course
12 ounces carob chips/chocolate chips/pieces/etc
Sift salt, b. soda, b. powder, and flour together.
Cream butter, turbo, eggs, and vanilla well.
Mix dry into wet. Add oat flour. Fold until moist.
Add carob/chocolate. Fold.
Portion as desired on parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake at 375-deg. F for approx. 20 minutes. Temperature and cook time may need adjusting.

Dogcipe No.030 Carob Chip Cookies
We have baked Carob Chip Cookies to celebrate Chocolate Chip Day! As the chocolate is toxic for dogs, we have used carob chip instead! When choosing carob chips, choose one without added sugar. It is human-grade and vegan friendly treats that humans can share. Let us know by tagging us with #mypetcipe if you try this recipe.
CAUTION: Every pet is different. Make your best judgement on the amount and the ingredients depending on your own pet’s allergies and food intolerance level.
INGREDIENTS:
1 ripe banana
1/4 cup peanut butter (unsweetened & no salt) (64g): amzn.to/3lcQRTn
1/4 cup coconut flour (35g): amzn.to/3yo4l53
1 tbsp coconut oil (15g): amzn.to/2Tg96v1
2 tbsp carob chips (20g): amzn.to/368JKVB
DIRECTION:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Crush the ripe banana in a mixing bowl.
Mix crushed banana with peanut butter to make sure they are all blended well.
Microwave the coconut oil to make it liquefied.
Combine the mixture with coconut flour and melted coconut oil and mix them well.
Mix with carob chips.
Shape the dough into desired shapes and place them onto the baking sheets.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Cool them down completely before serving.
Keep the cookies in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or in the freezer to keep them fresh for longer period.

Carob tastes similar to chocolate and is a great dairy free alternative. Per 2 tbsp carob has
✅ 5 g of fiber
✅ 6 mg magnesium
✅ 99 mg potassium
✅0. 35 mg iron
✅ 0. 055 mg riboflavin
✅ 0. 228 mg niacin
Because carob is naturally sweet, they can help satisfy your sugar cravings.
Ingredients
For the dry ingredients
1 cup oat flour
2 tbsp carob powder
2 flax eggs (2 tbsp ground flax seeds combined with 4 tbsp water)
For the dry ingredients
7 Medjool dates, pitted
1/4 cup tahini
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup plant milk
Carob chips to fold in
Preheat the oven to 350 F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl combine all dry ingredients. Blend all wet ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth.
Transfer the blended wet ingredients to the bowl with the dry ingredients and fold them in. Once you have your cookie dough add the carob chips and fold them in as well.
Place the cookies on the baking tray and bake for 15 - 20 minutes.
Let them cool completely and enjoy!
