How To make Cheryl's Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
1
cup
butter, or margarine
2
each
eggs
1
cup
brown sugar
1
cup
white sugar
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract
3
cup
flour, all-purpose
1
teaspoon
baking soda
1
teaspoon
baking powder
1
cup
chocolate chips
1/2
cup
walnuts, chopped
Directions:
Beat first 5 ingredients, then by hand stir in the flour, powder, and soda. When it is dough, add chips and nuts. Drop by tablespoonful onto lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 350F for 8-12 minute (careful not to overbake). If you want some variation, try leaving out a little margarine and replacing it with peanut butter, or replacing a little of the flour (about a cup) with oatmeal.
Notes: If the dough seems sticky, add a little flour or oatmeal until it's easier to handle. If it's too "wet," the cookies will be flat and crunchy.

Chef Cheryl makes Regal Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

CHOCOLATE CRINKLE COOKIES
1 cup chopped dark chocolate
1 50gram Regal pecan nuts, chopped
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups flour
1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1/3 cup softened butter
1 ½ cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla essence
4 eggs
½ cup icing sugar
Method
Preheat oven to 350˚f.
1. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, pecan nuts and chocolate pieces in a bowl and set aside.
2. Place butter, sugar and vanilla essence in a mixing bowl and mix until combined, add eggs one at a time.
3. Add dry ingredients to the mixture and mix until incorporated.
4. Place in a bowl and cover, place in the refrigerator for approximately 2 hours.
5. Line a cookie sheet with baking paper, remove cookies from the refrigerator roll the dough into balls and roll them in the icing sugar coating them completely.
6. Place on the lined cookie sheet leaving a space between each ball, bake for approximately 10 minutes or until you notice the cookies crackling on the top.
NOTE:
The chilling of the cookie dough should not be missed as the dough after mixing would be very soft. The cookies once removed from the oven would still be soft, this is okay as the remaining heat would firm up the cookie further and you also want it to be chewy.
