How To make Chicken with Apples
4 lb Chicken
cut up
2 T Butter
2 T Oil
1/3 c Brandy
4 Apple :
peeled, cored &
-sliced 2 Onion -- chopped
1 c Apple cider or apple juice
-for authorityuse calvados 1 c Sour cream
1 T Flour
2 T Parsley :
chopped
1 t Tarragon
1/2 ts Paprika
Salt to taste Pepper :
to taste
In a casserole, heat butter and oil and brown chicken; season with salt and pepper if desired. Warm brandy in saucepan, ignite, and pour over chicken. Allow flame to burn itself out. Add apples and onion. Combine cider, sour cream, flour, and herbs; stir until smooth and pour over contents of casserole. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until chicken is tender. If you want, 2 cups of cider or apple juice may be used; just omit the sour cream and use 2 Tbs of flour. You can also try it without the tarragon, using 1/4 tsp each of nutmeg, cinnamon, and ground cloves. Ingredients:
2 boneless chicken breasts
1 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp thyme
2 apples
½ lemon juice
3 tbsp water
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Step-by-step instructions:
Slice chicken breasts and season with paprika, thyme, pepper and salt. Stir to cover all meat with seasons.
Melt the butter on the medium sauce pan over medium heat and place there chicken slices.
Cook chicken for 4 minutes both sides.
Cut apples into 12 parts and place them over the chicken.
Pour lemon juice into sauce pan.
Cover with lid. reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes until apples are tender.
Serve with whole grain rice, salad or potatoes puree.
Enjoy your meal!
PRO TIP
Semi-sweet apples are appropriate for this dish.
Add a few tablespoons of water to simmer chicken with apples if your chicken isn't moistured enough.
Do not burn the paprika, because it makes the dish bitter.

4 boneless, skin-on chicken breasts
Salt and ground black pepper
3 tablespoons grape seed oil
1 apple, sliced
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 bay leaf
1/2 cup chicken stock or Apple Cider
2 tablespoon unsalted butter
Preheat oven to 400º. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat a large oven proof sauté pan over medium high heat and add oil. When hot add chicken breasts skin side down. Brown the chicken on both sides and add the apples. Add vinegar, maple syrup, bay leaf, and stock to the sauté pan. Bring to a boil. Place pan in oven and roast until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F, approximately 6-10 minutes. Remove chicken from the oven. If needed reduce sauce 3 minutes to thicken over high heat. Turn heat off, add butter and adjust the seasoning. Serve chicken with thickened liquid. Serves 4

Ingredients:

Salt
Crushed Black Pepper
Bay Leaves/Dahon ng Laurel
Chicken Breast
~~Salad:
Mayonnaise, half cup
All Purpose Cream, half cup
Salt, half tsp
White Sugar, 1 tsp
Ground Black Pepper, half tsp
Pickle Relish, 2-3 tbsp
Red Onion, 1-2 tbsp
Pineapples Tidbits, 1/4 cup
Celery Stalk, 1/8 cup
Sliced Carrots, boiled 1 medium size
Marble Potatoes, boiled less than 1kg
Fuji Apple, 1 pc medium size sliced into bite size
Diced Cheddar Cheese, 1/8 cup
Chicken Breast, boiled cut into bite size chunks
Fresh Parsley, for garnishing
