How To make Christmas Chocolate Cookies
3 Eggs
1/2 lb Unsweetened chocolate
1 lb Brown sugar
1/2 lb Cut nut meats
1 ts Cinnamon
1 lg Cup sifted flour
1/4 ts Cloves
Recipe by: talmy@randvax.UUCP (Shel Talmy) Melt chocolate. Beat eggs 'til foamy. Add sugar, spices, nuts and flour. Then add melted chocolate. Drop from spoon onto a well greased pan and bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes. You can also spread the batter about 1/2 inch thick in a jelly-roll pan. My grossmama baked hers this way, but since she used a wood stove, she gave no oven temperature (moderate) or baking time in her recipe. -----

Eggless Chocolate Chip Cookies
Cookies are a must to complete the Christmas experience. They are also a wonderful jar snack to have at home, to appease your sweet tooth as well as sudden hunger pangs. And, what better flavour of cookie to make than chocolaty ones! Here is the perfect recipe to make delightful Eggless Chocolate Cookies, which have an ideal melt-in-the-mouth texture and the sweet scent of vanilla, speckled with chocolate chips, which will add more joy to every bite.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes.
Cooking Time: Nil.
Makes 9 cookies.
Baking Temperature: 180°C (360°F).
Baking Time: 20 minutes.
6 tbsp chocolate chips
1 cup plain flour (maida)
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
6 tbsp powdered sugar
5 tbsp soft butter
½ tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp milk
1. Combine the plain flour, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl and mix well. Keep aside.
2. Combine the sugar and butter in a deep bowl and whisk well till the mixture turns smooth and no lumps remain.
3. Add the vanilla essence, milk and chocolate chips and mix well.
4. Add the plain flour mixture and mix well to form a dough without using any water.
5. Divide the mixture into 9 equal portions and shape each portion into a flat, round cookie.
6. Place the cookies on a greased baking tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C (360° F) for 15 minutes.
7. Cool on a wire rack and serve or store in an air-tight container.

20 g ( 1 ½ tbsp) Butter
25 g ( 1 ¾ tbsp) Sugar
10 g ( ¾ tbsp) Milk
55 g ( ⅓ cup + ½ tbsp) All purpose flour
1/8 tsp Baking Soda
Pinch of Salt
Chocolate Chips ( Add as many as you like )
PLEASE READ: Every microwave is different. The cook time in your microwave could be anywhere between 1 minute and 1 minute and 15 seconds. Check the cookie after 1 minute. Once it comes out of the microwave it should be very soft. Allow the cookie to cool slightly for 5 minutes to allow it to set before eating. Enjoy warm. DO NOT over bake! Please be precise and use the exact amounts in the recipe.

No other cookie or treat beats Chocolate Chip Cookies. They're gooey on the inside but crunchy on the outside, pretty irresistible if you ask me!
Honeysuckle’s Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe (makes 8):
Melt and carefully brown 8 tbsp high-quality butter, I used Kerrygold brand
In a large bowl mix:
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt (kosher)
1/2 tsp baking soda
Then once it’s a ribbon-like consistency, add:
1 1/3 cups AP flour
1 cup large chocolate chips
Mix well, scoop into round dough balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with finishing salt if desired. Chill 10 minutes if you’d like and bake for 10-12 minutes at 350º F.
Cool and serve

unsalted butter: 114g
white sugar: 100g
brown sugar: 110g
an egg (50g)
1tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
flour: 160g
chocolate chips: 175g
also for the oven: 170-180 degrees Celsius
edit: I made them with those measurements today and they turned out amazing, they're really delicious! I put them at 180degrees celsius for 11 minutes it was enough!
si des français passent par là: si vous n'avez pas de brown sugar (si quelqu'un sait ou en trouver d'ailleurs???), vous pouvez utiliser de la vergeoise, j'ai pris de la blonde et c'était parfait! pour la baking soda c'est du bicarbonate de soude!
