How to Make Tomato Salsa Salad Recipe
Let me show you how to make Tomato Salsa Salad Recipe
Also know as Pico de Gallo, this type of salsa is made of fresh uncooked tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, jalapenos and fresh lime juice.
Salsa can be called salad, sauce or dip.
You will need:
3 Tomatoes
1 Red Onion
7 Pickled Jalapenos
1/2 Cup Cilantro
1 Tbsp Lime Juice
1/2 Tbsp Pickled Jalapeno Juice

Kachumber Salad
If you are tired of having lettuce in all your salads, this simple and refreshing salad is a must try. Kachumber salad goes very well with “Daal Chawal”, Rice dishes or with any curry, you can add it to paratha rolls and sandwiches as well. This is such an easy recipe that you don’t have to worry about measurements or anything. Add anything to the quantity you like, season according to your taste and enjoy. This salad add freshness to the overall menu. If you have chat masala at home do not skip it and take my word for it because this is one of these recipes that I have been making most in my life and everyone loved it.
Ingredients:
2 medium Tomatoes
1 medium Cucumber
½ large Onion (or 1 small)
Cilantro (2 tbsp chopped)
Mint (1 tbsp chopped)
lime/lemon ½ medium (or 1 tbsp lime/lemon juice)
Salt and black pepper to taste
½ tsp Chat Masala or to taste
Directions
Chop onion and then add it to a bowl of cold water. This helps reduce the sharp and strong onion flavor. I usually add chopped onion to a bowl of water and place it in freezer for 5-10 minutes. DO NOT forget to take it out on time because it might freeze if you keep it longer than 15-20 minutes. Add a tbsp of vinegar if you want. I do it both ways with or without vinegar.
Dice cucumber and tomatoes. Chop cilantro, mint and green pepper. I used ½ jalapeno and it is quite mild for us. If you are using a hot pepper you can remove the seeds as well.
Cut the lime, use ½ only if it is big or use according to your taste.
Put everything in a bowl, drain onion and add them to the bowl as well. Make sure they are well drained.
Season with chat masala, salt, black pepper and lime/lemon juice, whichever you have available.
Note:
Use vinegar if you don’t have fresh lemon/lime or lemon/lime juice.
You can more vegetables as well, but onion, tomatoes and cucumber is the main ingredient for this.

• 2 pints cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
• 10 large basil leaves, chiffonade or roughly chopped
• 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
• 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
✅Instructions

1️⃣ 00:00:13 - Cut all of your grape or cherry tomatoes in half and place into a large mixing bowl. Place basil in with tomato mixture.
2️⃣ 00:01:07 - In a small mixing bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper.
3️⃣ 00:01:36 - Pour dressing over tomato mixture. Toss to coat.
4️⃣ 00:01:53 - Serve at room temperature, or chill for 2 hours before serving.

Hello Everyone!!! This is a Salad that I ate back in the Day as a child. I’ve lose lots of weight eating this salad. I ate this for lunch and dinner along with some baked chicken, fish or pork chop (not much red meat) and a fruit. For Breakfast I ate some oatmeal sprinkled with a sweetener and a little real butter & a fruit (strawberries, oranges, apples or grapefruit) Or I ate a couple pieces of bacon and 2 eggs. For snack I ate a Fruit before Bedtime. (4 fruits total per day) & I Drank Plenty of Water All Day!
Salad Recipe:
2 Large Cucumbers
1 medium Onion
1 package of Cherry Tomatoes
3 Tablespoons of White Vinegar
1 or 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste

Corn and Tomato Salad - Summer Salad | Food Impromptu
▶️ SALAD RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
4 Cups / 570g approx. Cooked Sweet Corn Kernels - (3 medium size sweet corn roughly 900g by weight without husk)
2 Cups / 300g Tomatoes (SEEDS REMOVED) - chopped
1/2 Cup / 30g Green Onion - chopped
1/2 Cup / 70g Red Onion - chopped
1/2 Cup / 16 to 20g Cilantro - chopped
▶️ SALAD DRESSING INGREDIENTS:
2 to 3 Tablespoon Lemon juice (I have added 3 tablespoons, I prefer a bit sour)
1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive oil
1/2 Tsp Garlic - Minces/grated
Salt to taste (I have added 1/2 teaspoon of Pink Himalayan Salt)
1/4 Teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1/4 Cayenne Pepper or to taste OR 1 to 2 Green chilis
▶️ METHOD:
Fill a pot with 2 to 3 inches of water and bring it to a boil. In the mean time, remove the corn husk and place the cleaned corn in the steamer basket. My steamer basket is small, so I had to cut the corn in half in order for it to fit in.
Once the water starts boil, place the steamer basket in the pot, cover the lid and steam the corn for about 5 to 7 minutes (the corn I used were very tender/fresh so I steamed it only for 5 minutes).
(PLEASE NOTE: the water level in the pot should be below the steamer, if the water is touching the steamer drain some of the water out).
To make the salad dressing, combine lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper to a small bowl and whisk until thoroughly combined.
To a large salad bowl add the cooked corn kernels, chopped tomatoes (seeds removed), green onions, red onion, cilantro and cover and store it in the fridge.
When ready to serve, add the salad dressing, mix well and serve it cold.
Store any left over salad in the refrigerator.
