My interpretation and it’s doubled:

2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
171g wheat bran
2 cups buttermilk
2 eggs
2/3 cup vegetable oil

1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups mix-ins (raisins/nuts/seeds/berries/chocolate chips) whatever you like
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray muffin tins with vegetable spray
Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix wheat bran and buttermilk and let sit for 10 minutes.
Whisk eggs, oil, sugar and vanilla then add to bran mix.
Stir in the dry ingredients.
Finally, add the mix-ins and stir just until no flour showing
Use 1/3 cup measure to fill cups about ¾ full.
Bake 15-20 minutes until tester comes out clean.
Cool in pans for 5 minutes on a rack
Remove muffins from pan to a rack and then enjoy.
Let cool completely before storing.
These store excellent in the freezer!!!

Bran Muffins Recipe Demonstration - Joyofbaking.com
Recipe here: Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make Bran Muffins. Most of us have two types of muffin recipes in our collection; the ones that we make for special occasions and the ones that are constantly in use. Bran Muffins fall into the second category. While they may not be sophisticated looking or contain exotic ingredients, their wholesome flavor makes them an ideal breakfast food. Of course, bran is usually touted more for its carbohydrate, fiber, phosphorous, and calcium content than for its subtle taste, but these muffins are anything but plain.

Oat Bran Muffins Recipe Demonstration - Joyofbaking.com
Recipe here: Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make Oat Bran Muffins. These Oat Bran Muffins have the nutty flavors of oat bran and whole wheat flour, plus the flavors of molasses, cinnamon, vanilla, and orange zest. And because they are rich in fiber they are wonderfully satisfying. I also like that fact that they are pretty low in fat, just two tablespoons of oil for 12 muffins.
