This is a formal cake and I will guide you through its baking process. You can bake and store this cake in form of squares to have a treat always ready to serve.
I will be sharing a lot of post-baking tips (see presentation chapter time - 13:26 ) to achieve a soft cake as also the tips to reheat a cake to freshen it up.

RPPF Banana Chocolate Date Cake - No Sugar

Op. 1 no. 1 ---Yummy and No Sugar!

Banana Chocolate Date Cake (one cake)
In a food processor and grind:
¼ c walnuts
¼ c chocolate chips

Add and mix well:
6-8 Medjool dates – with pits out
½ c water or milk

Add and mix again until a smooth paste:
2 ripe bananas

Add and mix again:
½ c olive oil/coconut oil
1 tsp vinegar (your choice) or rum
1 tsp or more vanilla extract
1½ c flour – wheat/gluten free
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
¼ c cocoa powder
Pinch of salt

Add ¼ to ½ c more water if needed

Grease the pan of your choice - bread pan bread, square or round (not less than 7”) Pour batter into pan – tap until level – and sprinkle more chocolate chips on top if you wish. Bake at 350-360 about 45-60 minutes. Toothpick needs to come out clean.

Chocolate Date Brownies - Gluten Free and Dairy Free

Dessi has a gooey chocolate brownie recipe that is so easy to make and tastes fantastic. The brownies are made with medjool dates, so they are refined sugar free, and they are gluten and dairy free. The chocolate brownie batter is mixed in a food processor and then baked in the oven, so easy. If you can't find millet flour, sub it out with gluten free all-purpose flour. Replacing refined sugar with soaked dates gives the chocolate brownies such a great flavor and makes them much healthier because dates are low on the glycemic index.

One Blender Date & Walnut Cake ✨❤️

Here’s how you can make this delicious Date Walnut Cake - Blender Cake at home ☺️

Ingredients :
Flour - 1 1/2 Cup
Brown Sugar - 1/3rd Cup
Dates - 3/4th Cup (de-seeded)
Baking Soda - 1/4th Cup
Water - 1/2 Cup
Milk - 1/4th Cup
Baking Powder - 2 Tsps
Baking Soda - 1/4th Tsp
Salt - 1/4th Tsp
Cinnamon Pwd - 1/4th Tsp
Curd - 6 Tbsps
Oil - 6 Tbsps
Milk - 5-6 Tbsps (Add more if needed)
Vanilla Essence - 1/4th Tsp
Walnuts - 1/2 Cup
Chocolate Chip - 1/4th Cup


Process :
* To a saucepan, add in the seedless dates along with some milk, water & baking soda - allow it to come to a boil & cook the dates until soft & mushy
* Let the dates cool down slightly - transfer it to a blender jar along with the curd, oil, milk, vanilla essence, baking powder, baking soda, flour, cinnamon powder & salt - blend until a smooth, homogeneous batter is achieved (Do not Over-mix)
* Transfer the batter to a greased & lined 7 inch cake tin & top it up with chopped walnuts & chocolate chips
* Bake in a pre-heated 180C oven for 35-40 minutes/ until a skewer inserted comes out clean
* Allow the cake to cool down slightly, Slice & Enjoy ????✨

There are so many recipes for Date cake/ date and walnut cake.This is an easy to make Date cake .This cake is rich in natural fibers and natural sugar as dates are the superheroes in this cake:)

Complete written Recipe:

Method

Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4.
Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then slowly add the eggs ,coffee powder,and vanilla extract.
Sift in the flour, baking powder,into the batter.
Pour into the tin and bake for about 60 mins until a skewer comes out clean. Cool in the tin for 5 mins, then remove to a wire rack.
Now our Date cake / Date walnut cake is ready.
