Classic French Onion Soup Recipe: The Easiest Way
Long time ago, you needed just fried onions, beef broth and bread rinds to cook a French soup. Today, it is obligatory to add butter, garlic, wine and, as a rule, grated cheese. Cheese is also put on croutons, which are usually served with onion soup.
To cook 4 portions, you will need:
35.2 oz (1kg) onion
2.1 oz (60g) butter
33.8 oz (1l) beef stock
7 oz (200g) cheese
1 tsp dried thyme
4 slices French bread

French Market Soup | Homemade and Easy
Years ago, a colleague gave me a recipe for French Market Soup. Thanks, Becky Gray! I make it at least once a year, usually after my mom cooks a ham either on Christmas or Easter, or both! The recipe is far easier than it looks on paper. y middle-school students and my secondary-school students made the French Market Soup. I show and tell several short-cuts and variations during the video. This video shows the paper recipe, the ingredients, how I prepare the ingredients, and what the final product looks like. Tasty and easy! Glad to have leftovers during this cold spell that the United States is having.
