Fake “Chili.” Beware of this stuff!
I bought a can of “Chili Sauce” thinking it was the cake thing as chili. Chili sauce and coil are NOT the same. #TexasTailgate #ChiliSauce #SoyChili
♦️ What’s the difference between a can of Texas Tailgate “chili sauce” and a can of hormek chili?
Hormel chili and Texas tailgate chili sauce are different types of chili products that have some notable differences.
Hormel chili is a canned, ready-to-eat chili that typically contains a combination of beef, beans, and a tomato-based sauce. Hormel chili is available in different varieties, including with or without beans, and can be used as a topping for hot dogs or as a standalone meal.
Texas tailgate chili sauce, on the other hand, is a chili sauce that is typically used as a cooking ingredient or a condiment. It is not a ready-to-eat meal like Hormel chili. Texas tailgate chili sauce is often made with ground beef, chili powder, tomatoes, onions, and various spices, and can be used as a base for chili con carne or as a sauce for burgers or other dishes.
Overall, the main difference between Hormel chili and Texas tailgate chili sauce is that Hormel chili is a canned, ready-to-eat meal, while Texas tailgate chili sauce is a sauce or ingredient used in cooking. Additionally, the specific ingredients, flavor profile, and intended use of the products may differ as well.

♦️ What are the ingredients in a can of Texas tailgate chili sauce?
Soy grits are a food product made from ground soybeans that have been toasted and cracked into small pieces. They are often used as a protein-rich ingredient in various dishes, including soups, stews, and casseroles.
A can of chili sauce typically refers to a spicy sauce made from chili peppers, spices, and often includes other ingredients like tomatoes, onions, and garlic. It can be used as a condiment or an ingredient in various dishes, such as chili con carne, tacos, and enchiladas.
The purpose of combining soy grits and a can of chili sauce would depend on the specific recipe or dish you are making. For example, you could use the soy grits as a vegetarian substitute for ground meat in a chili con carne recipe, and the chili sauce would provide the spicy and flavorful base for the dish. Alternatively, you could mix the soy grits and chili sauce together to make a dip or a spread for crackers or vegetables.
