How To make Orange Juice Cookies
Creme: 1 c Sugar
1/4 c Crisco
2 1/2 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Butter
2 Eggs
1/2 ts Soda
3/4 c Orange juice
Glaze: 2 1/2 c Powdered sugar
1/4 c Butter; melted
CREME: Mix all above ingredients to make the cream. On greased cookie sheet, bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. GLAZE: Add a little orange juice you get the consistency of a glaze. Frost cooled cookies. -----

TODAY'S RECIPE IS Easy Orange Cookies Recipe | Eggless & Without Oven | Yummy
INGREDIENTS:
Butter 1/4 cup
Powder sugar 1/2 cup
Orange emulation 1/2 tsp
Mix until fluffy consistency
Mix well
All purpose flour 1 cup
Baking powder 1 tsp
Baking soda 1/4 tsp
Orange juice 3 tbsp
Dough form
Cherry on top
Place a stand & heat the pan for 5 mins on medium flame
After 5 mins place the tray
Cook it on medium low flame for 15-20 mins or bake in a preheated oven at 160c for 15-20 mins
NOTE: 1 CUP = 250 ML

FOR THE COOKIES
- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 4 tablespoons orange zest
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup buttermilk
FOR THE CITRUS FROSTING
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups powdered sugar
FOR THE COOKIES
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 3-5 minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix in orange juice, zest, and vanilla.
Add the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
With the mixer running on low, add the buttermilk.
Finish mixing by hand to ensure the batter is evenly mixed.
Using a tablespoon-sized cookie scoop, place cookies on parchment-lined baking sheets.
Bake in preheated oven 10-12 minutes until just set.
Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking pan for 5 minutes. While cooling, prepare the frosting.
FOR THE FROSTING
Mix all the ingredients until smooth. Add more juice or sugar to achieve the correct consistency.
While the cookies are slightly warm, dip tops in frosting or spoon one teaspoon over each cookie.
Allow to cool and dry to touch then enjoy!

Ingredients:
4 cups (520 g) all_purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup (200 g) white sugar
1 cup (240 ml) vegetable or canola oil
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
orange zest from 2 oranges
1/2 cup (120 ml) freshly squeezed orange juice, straightened

1. In a medium mixing bowl, sift the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Whisk well and set aside.
2. In a large mixing bowl, place the sugar, oil, and vanilla. Zest 2 oranges right over the top. Squeeze both oranges and strain the juice. Add 1/2 cup of juice to the wet ingredients and mix with a wire whisk until well incorporated about 2 minutes.
3. Add flour mixture to the wet ingredients and combine all ingredients with a rubber spatula until just combined. Knead the dough by hand until smooth about 2 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes.
4. Using an ice cream scoop (1 1/2 Tbsp), scoop the dough into even balls (25 g) and place onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. You can divide the dough into equal balls by hand. This recipe yields 40 pieces.
5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) with the oven rack in the center of the oven.
6. Using your hands, shape the dough into a small ball, then into a log (11 cm). Join the ends of the log to form a ring.
7. Place cookies 1 inch apart on ungreased baking pans. I used 2 half sheet pans and 1 quarter sheet pan.
8. Bake 1 sheet at a time in on the center rack for 12 minutes or until golden on both sides. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
