How To make Patty's Cake
1 c Cornmeal;yellow or white
Preferably stone ground,plus More for preparing pan 1/2 c Flour
1 1/2 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
1 c Sugar
1/4 c Oil;plus more for preparing
Pan 2 tb Butter;softened
2 Eggs;large plus
2 Egg whites
1/2 c Yogurt;nonfat plain
1 1/2 tb Lemon;zest grated
1 tb Lemon juice,fresh
1/2 ts Lemon extract
1 c Berries;fresh or frozen,
Strawberries,blueberries,or Raspberries 1/4 c Black currant liqueur,such
As Creme de Cassis Line bottom of 10" round cake pan with parchment or wax paper.Lightly oil pan an dust with cornmeal,shaking out excess.. Sift together cornmeal,flour,baking powder and salt in medium bowl and set aside.. Whisk togethersugar,oil and butter in large mixing bowl until well combined.Add eggs and egg whites,one at a time,stirring until just combined.Stir together yogurt,lemon zest,lemon juice,and lemon extract in small bowl.Fold in dry ingredients until just combined.Do not overmix.. Spoon batter into prepared pan and smooth top with rubber spatula.Bake at 350~F until cake is golden and wooden pick inserted into center comes out clean,about 40 minutes.Cool cake on rack 10 minutes.Invert cake onto platter,peel off paper and cool completely.( Cake can be made ahead to this point and refrigerated,wrapped in plastic,up to 3 days.) Toss berries with black currant liqueur.Cut cake into wedges and serve topped with berries.Makes 12 servings.

Making my Favorite Winter Food - Castella Sponge cake - Potato Patty Breakfast - Garlic Karhai
Complete Recipes in English:
Castella cake
Ingredients
• Oil 1/4 cup
• Milk 1/3 cup (at room temperature)
• Egg yolks 4 (at room temperature)
• All-purpose flour 1/2 cup
• Cocoa powder 3 tbsp
• Vanilla powder/essence 1 tsp
• Egg whites 4 (at room temperature)
• Salt 1/4 tsp
• Lemon juice 1 tsp
• Powdered sugar 3/4 cup
• Chocolate chips for topping
Preparation
1. Preheat the oven at 160°C.
2. In a mixing bowl, add oil, milk and all-purpose flour. Whisk until well combined.
3. Add egg yolks, one by one, and stirring after each addition.
4. Now divide this batter into two equal parts.
5. Batter 1: Add vanilla powder or liquid essence and mix.
6. Batter 2: Add cocoa powder and mix.
7. Keep two parts for later use.
8. Now it’s time to make the meringue. In a separate bowl, add egg whites, salt, lemon juice and whisk until soft peaks are formed.
9. Add powdered sugar at this stage and whisk again until stiff peaks are formed.
10. Now add half meringue into the batter 1 and remaining half into the batter 2.
11. Gently fold in meringue using a spatula. So not whisk at this stage otherwise the meringue will deflate.
12. Take an 8-inch pan and prepare the sides using the wax paper.
13. Add the batter 2 into the pan and level it using a spatula.
14. Gently pour dollops of batter 1 on top and level out with the spatula.
15. Now using a lollipop stick or the back of a spoon, make wave pattern on the inner side of the tin (please watch the video for the demonstration).
16. Put some chocolate chips on top.
17. Fill a tray with water and place the baking pan on it. Water level should be 1 cm.
18. Place it in the middle section of the oven. Bake at 160°C for 60 to 65 minutes using only lower heat.
19. It is ready when the tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
20. Enjoy with tea or coffee.
Breakfast Potato Patty and healthy breakfast sandwich
Ingredient
• Big potatoes 2, grated
• Salt to taste
• Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
• Garlic powder 1/2 tsp
• Corn flour 1 tbsp
• Oil 1 tbsp
Preparation
1. Peel and grate the potatoes.
2. Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder and corn flour and mix.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan, grilling pan or waffle maker and place 2 spoonful of the potato mixture and shape into a patty using the same spoon.
4. Allow to cook on both sides on medium to low heat until potatoes are cooked through and golden on the outside.
5. Serve in a sandwich or as it is.
6. Enjoy!
Garlic Chicken Karahi
Ingredients
Karahi Paste
• Onion 1 medium
• Tomatoes 2 big
• Green chilies 1-2
• Coriander seeds 1+1/2 tbsp
• Cumin seeds 1+1/2 tbsp
• Fennel seeds 1/2 tbsp
• Garam masala 1 tbsp
• Red chili powder 1/2 tbsp
• Garlic paste 1 tsp
• Ginger paste 1 tbsp
• Yogurt 1 cup
• Fresh coriander 1 big bunch
Other Ingredients
• Chicken curry cut 1000-1200 grams
• Oil 1/2 cup
• Bay leaves 2
• Garlic heads 5
• Salt to taste
• Fresh coriander chopped
PREPARATION
1. Put all the ingredients of the karahi paste into a blender and blend into a fine paste using a little water. Keep aside for later use.
2. In a wok (karahi), add oil, bay leaves, chicken and garlic heads (Should be clean and free of any dirt).
3. Stir fry on high flame until the chicken pieces are golden brown on the outside.
4. Add the karahi paste and bring to boil on high flame.
5. Turn the flame to low, cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the chicken is very soft and tender and the oil has released from the gravy. Adjust the seasoning if needed.
6. That’s it! This is how easy this Garlic Chicken Karahi is. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with mint chutney and chapati. Enjoy!

THE best strawberry shortcake EVER! From my fav southern living cookbook!
~ cut and set aside
{1- qt strawberries sliced and sprinkled with 1/2 cup sugar}
~ for the shortcake
{2 cups flour 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup cold butter cut into pieces
(mix dry ingredients and cut in cold butter)
then add the 1/2 cup milk and 2 large egg yolks (keeping the whites)
pat dough into two buttered round pans
~ meringue topping {beat egg whites to stiff peaks and spoon over dough then sprinkle with sugar. }
Bake at 450' for 8-10 minutes cool then add homemade whipping cream (for Realz homemade????????) and fresh strawberries

St Patty’s day recipe. Sticky chocolate Guinness cake
Good morning my wild and beautiful friends. Today we’re making a decadent st patty’s day recipe. A super easy chocolate Guinness loaf that is sticky and delicious and even has a shimmery golden glaze.
All you need is a large mixing bowl and -
1 can full fat coconut milk
1.5 cups granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon instant coffee
2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup Guinness
Mix wet ingredients (minus Guinness)
Then sift dry ingredients into wet. Add beer once the batter is partially mixed. Bake immediately at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 40 minutes- checking at 30 minutes. You want a toothpick to come out mostly clean.
Drizzle with Guinness glaze-
Mix 4 tablespoons powdered sugar with about 1-2 tablespoons Guinness plus 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Add edible gold glitter for an extra boogie st patty’s day decoration:)
