How To make Penne From Heaven
FORMATTED BY S.GRABOWSKI:
12 oz Penne or ziti
2 tb Olive oil
1 1/2 c Chopped onion
3 Minced cloves garlic
3 c Chopped plum tomatoes
1/2 c Water
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Sugar
2 c Broccoli florets
2 c Chopped zucchini
1 c Sugar snaps (remove string)
->OR<- Snow peas 1/2 c Jullien carrots
2 tb Chopped parsley
1/2 c Grated Parmesean
Cook the pasta according to directions on the package; drain. While the pasta is cooking, heat the oil over medium-high heat in a 3-quart saucepan. Add the onion and garlic, and cook, stirring, until softened. Add the tomato, water,salt and sugar.Cook, stirring often, for 10 minutes. Add the broccoli, zucchini, sugar snaps, carrot and parsley. Cook, stirring until the vegetables are tender-crisp. Stir in the Parmesean. Serve over the pasta. BASIC PASTA SAUCE - AGLIO e OLIO
Preparation time : 15 minutes
Cooking time : 20-25 minutes
Servings : 2
Ingredients
2 tbsp Olive Oil (जैतून का तेल)
6-8 cloves Garlic - chopped (लहसुन)
5-6 Olives - sliced (जैतून)
¼ medium Red Bell Pepper (रेड बेल पेपर)
⅓ cup Sweet Corn Kernels (मकई के दाने)
¼ tsp Red Chilli Flakes (रेड चिल्ली फ्लेक्स)
Paste Water (पास्ता का पानी)
Boiled Rigatoni (उबली हुई रिगेटनी)
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (अतिरिक्त शुद्ध जैतून का तेल)
¼ tsp Black Pepper Powder (काली मिर्च पाउडर)
½ medium Lemon Juice (नींबू का रस)
few Basil Leaves - roughly torn (बसिल की पत्तियां)
For Garnish
Parmesan Cheese - grated (पारमेसान चीज़)
Black Pepper Powder (काली मिर्च पाउडर)
Basil sprig (बसिल)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil (अतिरिक्त शुद्ध जैतून का तेल)
Process
In a pan heat olive oil and add garlic, sliced olives saute for a few seconds.
Now add red bell pepper, corn kernels, red chilli flakes and saute for half a minute then add pasta water and boil it for a few seconds.
Add the boiled rigatoni and saute everything until properly mixed.
Then add extra virgin olive oil, black pepper powder and stir it again.
Now switch off the flames and finish it with lemon juice, basil leaves and mix everything together.
Serve immediately and garnish with parmesan cheese, black pepper powder, basil sprig and extra virgin olive oil.

Creamy Chorizo Pasta
Creamy Chorizo Pasta - Recipe Below - this 5 ingredient, no fuss, divine dinner is super easy to make. Give it a whirl and make sure you have a vat for new years day... hangover heaven, a friend said.. xxx JGS

Serves 4
2 tbsp olive oil
1 red onion, finely chopped
200g Chorizo, finely sliced
700g cherry tomatoes
400g Penne Pasta
100g cream cheese
Salt and pepper

1. Heat the oil in a large pan over a medium heat. Add the red onion and chorizo and cook, stirring occasionally, for 6-8 minutes until a little golden.
2. Add the tomatoes and a good pinch of salt and pepper to the pan. Mix well. Reduce the heat a touch and cover the pan. It should all be bubbling gently. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 minutes or until the tomatoes have popped and started to break down. Remove the lid, turn the heat back to medium and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3-4 minutes or until the tomatoes have pretty much broken down. I love a little texture left in the sauce.
3. Meanwhile, cook the pasta for 8-10 minutes or until al dente. Drain and reserve some of the pasta water.
4. Stir the soft cheese into the sauce and then add the pasta. Pour in 50ml of the pasta water and mix well until the sauce clings to the pasta. Check the seasoning. It will need a good pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well and once perfect, dive on in
