1/3 c Margarine, softened
1/2 c Granulated sugar
1/2 c Firmly packed brown sugar
2 Egg whites or 1 egg
2 c QUAKER Oats uncooked
: -(quick or old fashioned) : l c all-purpose flour 1 c raisins
l/3 c unsweetened cocoa l l/2 ts baking powder Heat oven to 350 F. Lightly spray cookie sheet with no-stick cooking spray. Beat margarine, sugars and egg whites until fluffy. Add milk and vanilla; mix well. Stir in combined oats, flour, raisins, cocoa and baking powder. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until just set. Cool l minute on cookie sheet. Remove to wire rack; cool completely. Stir in tightly covered container. Learn how to make chewy and chocolatey Quaker oatmeal cookies… no baking required!
INGREDIENTS
2 cups sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 cup low-fat milk
1/3 cup baking cocoa
3 cups Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned)
DIRECTIONS
1. In a large saucepan, combine sugar, butter, milk and cocoa. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Continue boiling 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
2. Remove from heat. Stir in oats.*
3. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper.
4. Let stand until firm. Store tightly covered.
*If using old fashioned oats, cool mixture in saucepan 5 minutes.
