How To make Quick And Easy Microwave White Clam Sauce
Ingredients

cream cheese
6 1/2
oz
clams, minced or chopped, can, with liquid
1
teaspoon
lemon pepper
2
teaspoon
garlic powder
1
tablespoon
parsley, dried
1/4
cup
parmesan cheese, grated
1
pasta, cooked, hot
Directions:
In 1 quart casserole dish, microwave cream cheese for 1 minute on high to melt. Add the whole can of clams and liquid, and mix together. Add the lemon pepper, garlic, parsley, and parmesan, and mix together. Return to the microwave and microwave 2-3 minutes, to heat through. You can adjust the seasonings to taste, and add other herbs if desired. Serve over cooked pasta.

4 cups of Minced Clams
3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
1 large Onion, Diced
2 Tablespoons of Grated Garlic
1/2 Teaspoons each: Basil, Oregano, Thyme, and Marjoram
1/2 Teaspoon of Red Pepper Flakes
3 Cups Of Béchamel Sauce
3 Cups of Clam Juice
1/2 Cups of White Vermouth
1 Tablespoon of Sugar
Salt
Ground Black pepper
1 1/2 pounds of Linguine
1/2 Cup of chopped parsley

Ingredients:
15-20 pieces mussels on half-shells, rinsed and cleaned
1/3 cup salted butter, softened
4-6 cloves garlic, chopped
1/4 tsp salt (if using unsalted butter)
1/2 cup or more grated cheddar cheese for topping
lemon juice when serving
Recipe Notes:
* I used frozen green mussels. To prepare, defrost the mussels by running it under cold tap water for approximately 2-3 minutes and set aside.
* Some recipes precook the mussels, while others don’t. The only advantage of precooking is that the mussels open up on their own. If you decide not to precook, it will be a little hard to handle to prize them open with a knife.
* If using fresh mussels, scrub the mussels, removing any dirt and hairy bit, clean and discard any that are broken. Put the mussels in a pot with the water, cover, and put on medium-high heat for a couple minutes until they open up. Remove from the heat and remove one side of the shell.
* If the oven is not available, these mussels can be grilled as well.
* If the mussels were precooked, bake for only about 10-12 minutes.
