INGREDIENTS
1 x 454g pack Cumberland sausages by Sainsbury’s
4 wooden bbq sticks or skewers
METHOD
1. Unravel the sausage links. Carefully even the sausage meat through the links to make one long sausage.
2. Coil the sausage to form a small wheel, using two sausage lengths. Twist the sausage and cut. Repeat to make 4 sausage pinwheels in total.
3. Push a skewer through the sausage and then cook as per the recipe. Or grill for 20 minutes, turning occasionally.

Sausage Pinwheels - Lynn's Recipes
A delicious, simple appetizer that is good for a party, cookout, or even to take to a tailgate party. Makes enough for a crowd.
Sausage Pinwheels
2 cans Crescent rolls
1 pound sausage
8 ounces cream cheese
2 cups 4 Blend Mexican Cheese
Brown the sausage in a skillet and drain. Add the cream cheese and 4 Blend Mexican Cheese and cook until it is all melted together. Make sure to turn the heat down to prevent the cheeses from burning. Remove from heat and set aside.
Unroll the Crescent rolls and press seams together. Spread half of the sausage mixture over one of the cans of Crescent rolls almost to the edges. Roll up the Crescent roll with the sausage mixture evenly spread starting with the long edge. Wrap in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator to chill completely. Repeat with the second can of Crescent rolls and the rest of the sausage mixture.
Preheat your oven to 375°. Unwrap the sausage pinwheels and slice into about 1/4 slices and place on a cookie sheet. I lined mine with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes. About halfway through cooking, turn over if desired, to brown evenly on both sides. Serve hot or warm.

Premio Sausage Pinwheels Recipe
Whether they're for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can't go wrong with this Sausage Pinwheels recipe: Check it out below:
Ingredients:
1 pound Premio Sweet Italian Sausage
1 jar favorite tomato sauce
1 package frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
1/2 cup mozzerella cheese
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Egg wash (one egg; 2 tablespoons water)
Fresh parmesan cheese, for garnish
Fresh basil, for garnish
How to make Sausage Pinwheels:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees (F). In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook Premio Sausage, chopping with wooden spoon into small pieces as it cooks. Drain on paper towels.
2. Lay pastry sheets out on floured surface, one at a time. Use rolling pin to flatten and smooth pastry – roll once across and once up and down. Spread half of pasta sauce on each pastry sheet, then sprinkle half of sausage and cheese on each sheet. Starting at bottom of pastry sheet, roll very slowly and tightly to make a pastry log. Use egg wash to seal edge.
3. Cut into 1/4-inch slices and place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush each pinwheel with a little egg wash.
4. Bake in preheated oven for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from oven and garnish with shaved parmesan and fresh basil. Serve warm.
