How To make Shrimp with Bean Sprouts
1/2 lb Shrimp, shelled & deveined
1 md Onion, sliced
4 c Fresh bean sprouts
3 tb Oil
1 tb Soya sauce
2 tb Water
1. Prepare shrimp and onion.
2. Heat oil in wok to smoking point. Stir fry shrimp
and onion in it for 3 minutes. Add salt, bean sprouts, soya sauce and 2 tablespoons water to wok. Stir ingredients well, cover wok and cook ingredients 5 minutes, lifting wok cover to stir ingredients 2 or 3 times. When all is cooked, serve in platter. NOTE: A very nutritious dish for winter eating. Pork, chicken, or beef may be substituted for shrimp. If cooking beef, unless it is ground beef, it should be taken out of wok and held in reserve, before cooking bean sprouts. -----

GINISANG TOGUE | SAUTEED MUNG BEAN SPROUTS | FOODNATICS
Is a quick and nutritious Filipino vegetable dish. Mung bean sprouts is sautéed with other vegetables such as green beans, carrots, bell pepper and complimented with fried tofu and shrimps. You can make this as a filing for your lumpiang togue. Best served with a freshly steamed rice.
Ingredients:
4 cloves minced garlic
1 medium-sized red onion
150g carrot
150g green beans
500g togue or mung bean sprouts
150g red bell pepper
250g shrimps (seasoned with salt & pepper)
500g tofu
Sauce:
1 tsp coarse salt
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp pepper
30g oyster sauce
2 tbsp water
