How To make Sour Cream Biscuits
2 c Flour 1/2 c Sour cream
1/2 ts Salt 3 tb Baking powder
1/2 ts Baking soda
Sift flour, measure, and sift with salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix with cream to the consistency of a roll dough, adding 1 teaspoon sweet milk or water if too stiff. Turn onto lightly floured board. Knead lightly. Pat into sheet 1/2 inch thick. Cut with floured cutter. Place in well-oiled pan and bake in hot oven (450? F) about 12 minutes. 12 servings. In this video I will show you how to cook the best Sour Cream and Cheddar Cheese Biscuits Ever!

INGREDIENTS:
2-1/2 Cups of All-Purpose Flour
3 Tsp Baking Soda
2 Tsp Sugar
1 Tsp Garlic & Parsley Season
1/4 Tsp Salt
1/2 Cup Cold Butter
1-1/2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese or
(1/2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese and 1/2 Cups Fontina Cheese)
3/4 Cup 2% Milk
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
Brush with Butter and Parsley Flakes or 1 Tsp Minced Fresh Parsley
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the Oven to 450
Wisk the First Five Ingredients in A Large Bowl
Cut in Cold Butter Until It Resembles Coarse Crumbs
Stir in Cheese
Add Milk & Sour Cream
Stir Just Until Moistened
Drop 1/4 Cups unto Greased Baking
Sheet.
Brush Butter on Top and Sprinkle Parsley on Top of the Butter
Bake for 12 to 15 Minutes until Golden Brown

BETH’S SOUR CREAM CHIVE BISCUIT RECIPE
Makes 12 biscuits
INGREDIENT’S
1 cup (240g) of unsalted butter
2 cups (240 g) of flour (plus ½ cup (60 g) for dusting board and rolling out)
1 tsp (5 ml) of salt
1 tbsp (15 ml) baking powder
1 tsp (5 ml) sugar
2 tbsp (30 ml) fresh chives, minced
½ cup (120 ml) sour cream
½ cup (120 ml) of heavy cream
2 tbsp (30 ml) milk
2 tbsp (30 ml) butter, melted for brushing tops once baked
METHOD:
Preheat oven to 400F/(200 C)
Whisk together flour, salt, baking powder. And sugar . Work in butter with hands until a coarse meal forms. Add chives.
Combine sour cream, heavy cream and milk. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. Pour in cream mixture. Mix with a fork until a dough develops.
Roll out onto a floured surface to a 1 inch (2.5cm) thickness.
Cut into 2 inch (5 cm) rounds place on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Bake at 400F (200C) for 13 mins. Brush with melted butter while still warm.

7-UP BISCUITS
2 cups Bisquick, Jiffy or any other Biscuit Mix
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1/2 cup 7-UP
1/4 cup melted Butter
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Pour half the butter into a cast iron pan and place in the oven to heat. In a large bowl cut the sour cream into the biscuit mix using a pastry cutter, or 2 knives. Stir in 7-up. Sprinkle extra biscuit mix onto a work counter. Knead and fold the dough on the counter until coated and smooth. Just a few turns is all you will knead! get it. Haha
Press down into a flat disc with your hands and cut out biscuits. Any size and thickness you desire. Place onto your hot pan. Brush with other half of the butter and bake for 12 to 15 mintues until golden brown. Enjoy with butter, your favorite jelly or fried chicken and gravy on my video below!
HOMEMADE BISCUIT MIX:
6 cups All Purpose Flour
2 tablespoons Baking Powder
2 teaspoons Salt
3/4 cup Shortening
Place all ingredients into a food processor and pulse until shortening has no large chunks. Store in an airtight container at room temp.
