Wild rice yam pancakes - Thrive Diet
This is my first attempt ever at an online video so it's really bad but I want to have something (anything) online in order to build on it, improve, see what I can change etc. The recipe is from the Thrive Diet ( and is delicious and super filling for anybody wanting something healthier than the traditional breakfast:
- 1 1/2 cup of water - 1/2 cup of quinoa - 1/2 cup of yam - 1/4 cup of wild rice - 1/8 cup of ground flax seeds - 1/8 cup of ground sesame seeds - a bit of salt - a bit of fresh ground pepper - 1 heaping teaspoon of coconut oil for an amazing taste
Cook the rice + quinoa for about 10-15 minutes, then add the yam and cook for an additional 10 min (until everything is ready). Grind the flax + sesame seeds in a grinder/Magic Bullet. When the quinoa/rice/yam are ready, put everything in a blender with the ground seeds, add a bit of water if necessary, and blend to taste.
