The Easiest Recipe for White Chocolate Peppermint Bark
It's the holidays and the perfect time to make this easy and delicious white chocolate peppermint bark. Only a few ingredients but the flavor is ALL THERE! Great to give as gifts and party favors too! I hope you try this recipe out and let me know what you think!
Ingredients
1 (12oz) package of white chocolate chips (Nestle Toll House is my favorite)
8 mini candy canes
1/8 teaspoon peppermint extract
Directions
Crush candy canes in a ziploc bag. If you have a double broiler this would be great to use. But if you don’t you can use a small pot. Melt the white chocolate chips in a small pot constantly stirring. Once melted remove from heat and add in the peppermint extract. Stir to combine.
Then pour the chocolate onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Spread into a thin even layer. Optional, swirl the top for a design. Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top. Put the pan into the freezer until the chocolate has hardened. Once hardened brake into pieces and enjoy!
