Chilli Garlic Glazed Crispy Seitan (vegan) - No Deep Frying!
How to make Vegan Sweet and Sour Seitan - crispy pan-fried gluten meat coated with a spicy glaze.

Ingredients:
Seitan:
Canola oil - ½ tbsp + more for frying seitan
Red onion, peeled, roughly chopped - ½ medium
Garlic, peeled, crushed - 2 cloves
Fresh shiitake, roughly chopped - ½ cup
Star anise - 1 piece
Tomato paste - 1 tbsp
Light soy sauce - 2 tbsp
Shaoxing wine - 1 tbsp
Dark soy sauce - 1 tbsp
Vegetable broth, no/low sodium, cold - 130ml or more
Vital wheat gluten - 150g
Sugar - ½ tbsp
White pepper, ground - ¼ tsp
Torula yeast - 2 tsp
Batter:
Cornstarch - 80g
Soy milk, unsweetened - 80g
Baking powder - 2.5g
Sauce:
Canola oil - 1 tsp
Garlic, minced - 1 tbsp
Ginger, minced - 1 tsp
Green onion, white and green separated, sliced - 4 stalks
Red chilli, deseeded, finely sliced - 2 medium
Light soy sauce - 2 tbsp or to taste
Shaoxing wine - 1 tbsp
Dark soy sauce - ½ tbsp
Maltose, warm (or sub any liquid sweetener) - ¼ cup
Ketchup - 3 tbsp
Rice vinegar - 1 tbsp or to taste
MSG - ⅛ tsp or to taste

Green Chili Seitan
Meat-Free Soy-Free alternative.
Easy Vegan Chili ???? Perfect For Fall ???? (High Protein Recipe)
Crystal has THE BEST one pot chili recipe and she shares it with us here today! At the end of the video I show the nutrient breakdown and Macro's for anyone that is interested.
This is perfect for meal prepping and batch cooking since it's so easy to scale the recipe up.

Ingredients:
1 large onion, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, chopped
3 carrots, chopped
3 stalks of celery, chopped
1/2 package of firm tofu, crumbled
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp liquid smoke
1 large Can of fire roasted tomatoes (28 oz) *regular canned tomatoes will work.
2 cups of water
1 can of kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
2 tsp braggs liquid aminos (or sub soy sauce or tamari)
1 tsp of vegan worcestershire sauce
Directions:
1. Add chopped onion, garlic, carrots celery into a large saucepan.
2. Sauté until veggies start to get soft, then add the crumbled tofu.
3. Add the spices and fire roasted tomatoes, stir well and sauté together for a few minutes.
4.Add the water and beans and mix in the braggs and worcestershire sauce.
5. Simmer for at least 20-30 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!

Pour cette nouvelle vidéo recette, direction le Texas avec une grande inspiration Mexicaine avec des épices. j'avais l'habitude de faire mon chili sin carné avec des protéines de soja mais cette fois j'ai voulu essayer avec du seitan et le résultat est délicieux.

INGREDIENTS (pour 6 personnes) :
- 150g de Gluten de Blé
- 70g de Farine de Pois-Chiches
- 1 C. à S. d'Ail en poudre
- 250 ml d'Eau
- 1 C. à S. de sauce soja
- Bouillon de légumes
- Huile d'olive
- 1 ou 2 Oignons rouges
- 2 Poivrons (rouge & vert)
- 2 gousses d'Ails
- 2 C. à S. de sauce soja
- 400g de Tomates concassées
- 700g de purée de Tomates
- Epices : Piment fort et doux, Cumin, Coriandre, Origan, Sel et Poivre
- 500g de Haricots rouges
- 250g de Maïs
- Tabasco
