Ingredients

Apples: 2.25 To 2.5 Pounds
Cranberries: 1 1/2 Cup
Sugar: 150 Grams (3/4 Cup)
Flour: 30 Grams (1/4 Cup)
Corn Starch: 2 Tablespoons
Cinnamon: 1.5 Teaspoons
Salt: 1/2 Teaspoon
Vanilla Extract: 2 Teaspoons
Butter: 1/4 Cup (Half Stick) Of Cubed Butter
Instructions

1.) Preheat Oven To 425F Degrees
2.) Peel & Slice Apples, Take Core Out As Well. Place in a Bowl
3.) Add The 1.5 Cups of Cranberries To Bowl.
4.) Add 150 Grams (3/4 Cups) Of Sugar
5.) Add 30 Grams (1/4 Cup ) Of All Purpose Flour
6.) Add 2 Tablespoons Of Corn Starch.
7.) Add 1.5 Teaspoons Of Cinnamon.
8.) Add 1/2 Teaspoon Of Salt
9.) Add 2 Teaspoons Of Vanilla Extract.
10.) Add 1/4 Cup (Half Stick) Of Cubed Butter To Bowl
11.) After All Ingredients Are Added To Bowl, Start Mixing In With A Spatula.
12.) After Mixing All Ingredients Together Add Pie Filling To The Pie Dough Filled Pie Plate.
13.) Add Top Pie Crust.
14.) Once Top Pie Crust Is Added, Get An Egg & Separate The Whites From The Yolk & Add To A Bowl.
15.) Add 1/2 Teaspoon Of Water To Egg Yolk & Mix Well.
16.) Brush Top Of Pie With Egg Wash Until Top Crust Is Covered In Egg Wash.
17.) Add Little Pinches Of Sugar To Top Crust, Enough To Cover All Parts Of Top Crust. You’re Going To Lightly Cover It.
18) Then Add Little Pinches Of Sea Salt, Himalayan Sea Salt Or Rock Salt, Do This Very Very Lightly. You’re Not Trying To Cover The Whole Top Crust! This Gives The Pie A Nice Sweet & Salty Combination.
19.) Place Pie In Preheated 425F Degree Oven For 15 Minutes. Then After The 15 Minutes Is Up, With Out Opening Your Oven Door Turn Oven Down To 350F Degrees & Bake Pie For An Additional 45 To 50 Minutes, Or Until Pie Is Golden Brown On Top.
20.) Let Pie Cool For 45 Minutes To 1 Hour. Then Serve & Enjoy, Your Pie Is Ready To Eat! Bon Appétit Peoples…Bon Appétit!!!

This cranberry apple galette is filled with tart cranberry sauce and thinly sliced apples, all wrapped in a crispy and flaky pie crust. It's the easiest kind of pie you can make and it's perfect for the holidays!

GALETTE CRUST
170 g all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon salt
115 g unsalted butter, cold and roughly cubed
70 g ice cold water
CRANBERRY FILLING
300 g cranberries, fresh or frozen
150 g granulated sugar
150 g water
APPLE FILLING
2 tart apples, thinly sliced
50 g brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon cornstarch
EGG WASH
1 large egg, beaten
2 tablespoons sugar crystals or coarse sugar

APPLE CRANBERRY PIE RECIPE BY CHEF MAYA-CAMILLE BROUSSARD:
Ingredients:
• 3-4 rolls of pre-made crust OR your favorite pie crust recipe
• 6 Granny Smith Apples (4-4 1/2 cups)
• 4 TBSP unsalted butter
• 1 cup light brown sugar
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup all-purpose, unbleached flour
• 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
• 1 cup cranberry sauce (with whole berries)
• 1 large egg plus 1 TBSP water for egg wash
• All-purpose, unbleached flour for dusting
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°
2. Peel, core and slice the apples.
3. In a large heavy-bottomed pot, melt the butter on medium heat
4. In a large bowl, combine the apples, sugar, flour and seasonings until the apples are well coated with the dry ingredients.
5. Pour the contents of the bowl in to the pot with the melted butter and stir, while allowing the butter to macerate with the flour mixture and the apples. If your mixture starts to stick to the pot as it heats up, feel free to add a little bit of water (no more than 1/8th cup).
6. Fold in cranberry sauce, turn off the heat and allow the apples to cool.
7. Line a 9” pie plate with pie crust.
8. Using “crust” cutters, cut out shapes for the top of the pie. Set side.
9. Place apple filling into the crust-lined pie plate.
10. Place first layer of crust cut-outs onto the outer perimeter of the pie. Before placing another later of crust cut-outs on top of that, lightly brush an egg wash onto the first layer (and every subsequent layer.) This helps the crust cut outs to stick to each other.
11. Place on a baking sheet and place in the oven for 35-45 minutes or until the pie has baked to a beautiful, golden brown color.
12. Allow the pie to cool for 10-15 minutes before enjoying!

Homemade Cranberry Apple Pie | JAZ Innovations
A wonderful homemade Cranberry Apple Pie made easy using the JAZ Innovations Perfect Crust Pie Mat. Here is the recipe:
Crust
Ingredients
1 & 3/4 cup Flour
1 Stick Butter
1 tsp Salt
1/4 Cup Water
Directions
1) Using a food processor, mix flour and salt together well.
2) Cut the butter into pieces and add to the flour slowly, using on/off turns of the food processor until it resembles a coarse meal.
3) Then, with the blade running, slowly add the water a little at a time, until the mixture forms into a loose ball.
4) Stop the machine, and turn the dough onto a floured surface or wax paper and roll out the crust. 5) Transfer the crust to a pie plate and form the edges in a decorative fashion.
Crumb Topping
Ingredients
1Cup Flour
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Stick Butter
Directions
1) Use a pastry blender to mix the brown sugar and flour together.
2)Cut the butter into pieces and use the pastry blender to cut the butter into the flour/sugar mixture.
3) Use your fingers to finish mixing the crumb topping. It should have a coarse texture when finished.
Filling
Ingredients
1 Bag Cranberries, washed and sorted
2 Tbsps. Apple Juice or Apple Cider
1 1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Cinnamon Stick
1/2 tsp. Ground All-Spice
4 to 5 medium Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, or other firm cooking apples
3 Tbsps. Minute Tapioca (for thickening)
Directions
1) Add the cranberries, apple juice, sugar, cinnamon stick and all-spice to a large, heavy pot and cook over medium heat until the cranberries burst.
2) Peel and core the apples, and slice them into thin wedges. Add the apples to the cranberry mixture and continue cooking until the apples soften.
3) Mix in the tapioca and add the filling mixture to the unbaked pie shell. (Be sure to remove the cinnamon stick). Heap the crumb topping generously on top of the filling before baking.
4) Bake at 375 degrees until the crust and crumb topping brown, about 30-40 minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream, or cold with some whipped cream on the side.
