How To make Sweet Potato Pecan Pie
1 cup cooked sweet potatoes 4 tablespoons sweet butter 3/4 cup top milk (half and half) 1/2 teaspoon ginger 1/2 cup chopped pecans 3 eggs 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon salt 9-inch unbaked pie shell 4 tablespoons sweet butter 4 tablespoons flour 4 tablespoons brown sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put the sweet potatoes through a vegetable ricer. Beat the eggs with the sugar and butter until smooth and light. Beat in the half & half, the sweet potatoes, the seasonings, and the pecans. Turn into the pastry shell. Make the topping by beating the ingredients together. Sprinkle over pie filling. Bake until the top is golden brown and the pie firm, about 40 minutes (a skewer inserted in the center of the pie should emerge clean.) Serve with slightly sweetened whipped cream.

Cheesecake Layer
8 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 egg
Pumpkin Pie Layer
1¼ cups unsweetened fresh or canned pumpkin puree (If using canned, strain in a cheesecloth or paper towel lined fine mesh sieve, covered, for several hours to overnight, in the fridge. Alternatively,cook it down in a saucepan on the stove top over medium -high heat for about 4 minutes until bubbling, then let cool before continuing)
½ cup + 2 tablespoons heavy cream (you can use evaporated milk, if you prefer)
¼ cup firmly packed brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon salt
¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon ground allspice
1 egg, lightly beaten

1½ cups pecans, chopped fine
¼ cup firmly packed light brown sugar

2 tablespoons light or dark corn syrup

SWEET POTATO PECAN PIE (Makes one 9-inch pie)
1 (9 - inch) unbaked pastry shell
1 pound (2 medium) sweet potatoes (yams!), cooked and peeled
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1 (14 - ounce) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk, (NOT evaporated milk)
1 teaspoon grated orange rind
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs

OLD SCHOOL SWEET POTATO PECAN PIE ???? (HAPPY THANKSGIVING)
This is a pie i have been working on for about 18 months
i wanted to develop a pie that tasted exact like a sweet potato pie and a pecan pie and had the crispy crunchy flavorful topping and the creamy smooth sweet potato filling
This is the final i came up with and im excited to share it with y'all
RECIPE FOR THE SWEET POTATO PIE:
2 eggs
2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
1 1/4 cups evaporated milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoons vanilla
4 oz melted butter
One 9-inch slightly par baked
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Add the mashed sweet potatoes, evaporated milk, butter , vanilla both sugars, cinnamon, and salt. Beat to combine, 1 to 2 minutes.
RECIPE FOR PECAN TOPPING:
4 TBSP. STICK BUTTER
1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR
2 TBSP. FLOUR
1/4 CUP CHOPPED PECANS
1/4 CUP PECAN HALVES
Use a pastry fork or spoon and blend the butter, brown sugar and flour well. Blend until it is crumbly and consistent in texture. separate the mixture in 2 small bowls Add chopped pecans and mix well in one bowl
in the other bowl add pecan halves and mix well
Sprinkle pecan pieces and then place pecan halves on potato mixture and bake at 350 degrees until set. About 40-45 minutes.

SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE -Pecan and Brown Sugar Topping-Ruth's Chris Copycat Recipe
Crunchy Pecan and brown sugar topping. Delicious sweet potato underneath. You cannot go wrong with this recipe!
INGREDIENTS
Filling:
3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
1 cup sugar
2 beaten eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
TOPPING
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup butter, melted
In large mixing bowl, combine sweet potatoes, sugar, salt, eggs, butter and vanilla.
Pour into 9 inch square greased baking dish.
Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle over potatoes.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes . Remove from oven and cool for 30 minutes.
