RECIPE: For 1-2 pies
3 medium to large sweet potato
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 stick soften or melted butter( unsalted or salted)
2 eggs per pie
1/2 cup brown sugar( optional)
1 cup white granulated sugar then add more later if not sweet enough
1tsp vanilla extract add more later to taste (lemon extract is optional) your choice
1tsp cinnamon- add more later to taste
1tsp nutmeg- more later to taste
1/4tsp salt(not table salt) if you are using unsalted butter only
1tbsp flour( optional)

Satisfying DECADENT Sweet Potato Pie Recipe!!

Sweet Potato Pie

1 stick plant butter
1/3 cup turbinado sugar
2 tablespoons coconut palm sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon grated ginger
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 cup coconut cream
1 graham cracker pie crust

Preheat Oven to 375 degrees (Let the pie bake for 35-40, until your knife comes out clean)
Add 1/2 stick of butter to the pan on low - med heat
Combine half the sugar on bottom of pan, with some cinnamon, vanilla extract, save the other half for once the yams are in the pan. Then add the remaining spices, the grated ginger and the other half of the butter.
Let the yams steam until soft, remove from heat, add to a bowl for cooling off.
Once yams are somewhat cooled (10 mins), add the cornstarch and coconut cream, mix and portion into pie pan.
Bake the pie for 35-40 minutes.
When the pie cools, slice and add your favorite whip cream or ice cream.
