Apple Butter Oatmeal Cookies
Simple Easy Delicious
1 box yellow cake mix, 2 eggs, 1 cup apple butter, 1 cup oatmeal,
1 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 nugtmet, 1/3 cup of oil (which I forgot to add to mine)
Raisins....Mix all ingredients and bake in 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes.

Apple Butter Cookies
Miss Allison and her assistant, Polar Bear, are cooking up some yummy cookies in celebration of National Cookie Month.
The whole family will enjoy this cookie centered series.

Ingredients: Makes 2 dozen cookies
- 1/4 cup butter, room temperature
- 1/4 cup apple butter (easy to find in the jelly section of the supermarket)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour*
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 cup Cinnamon Sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Cream together butter, apple butter, and sugar. Mix in sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix until well combined. In a medium bowl, combine cinnamon, flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar. Slowly add dry ingredients to butter mixture. Mix until dough forms. Place into fridge and chill for 2 hours. Using a tablespoon to portion out cookies, roll cookies into a ball and roll each ball in cinnamon sugar. Place cookies onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10 to13 minutes. Move baked cookies to wire rack to cool.

Hey family! Today's video started out as a morning in the kitchen, but quickly turned into an afternoon in the kitchen because we had to go cow catchin'! ???? The boys could have done it without me, but I was there for moral support! ???????????? When we get back in the house we continue with our In The Kitchen list, we make yeast rolls, apple butter, 3 ingredient sugar cookies, and do some fruit prep!
Yeast Rolls:
INGREDIENTS
1 cup Water warm
3 and 1/4 cups White Flour
1/4 cup Sugar
1 tablespoon Active Dry Yeast or yeast packet
1 Egg
2 tablespoons Butter
1 teaspoon Salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all ingredients (except for 1/4 cup of flour) in the bowl of a stand mixer and mix using a dough hook on low until combined.
(NOTE: I like to mix the yeast and warm water first while I'm getting everything else ready. For some reason the rolls seem to do better when I do that.)
Continue mixing about 5 minutes, gradually adding in the last cup of flour. Dough will be soft and just slightly sticky.
Turn out dough onto floured surface and knead two or three times, patting into ball shape.
Cover with kitchen towel and let rise 60-90 minutes, until doubled.
Turn onto floured surface and divide into 16 pieces. Shape into balls.
Place in greased 9x13 pan and cover with towel, allow to rise 45 minutes, until puffed.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until tops are golden brown.
Instant Pot Apple Butter recipe
Ingredients:
3 pounds apples, washed and cut into smaller pieces.
1 TB Vanilla
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground cloves
2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup water
Add all ingredients to the instant Pot.
Put the lid on the Instant Pot, set vent to sealing, then press the pressure cook button and adjust the time to 15 minutes at high pressure.
When timer is finished, let pressure release naturally for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, let remaining steam release. Remove lid.
Blend apple mixture with stick blender or regular blender until smooth.
If apple butter is still pretty runny, press the sauté button on the Instant Pot.
Sauté until thickened to desired consistency, making sure that you stir occasionally.
Turn off Instant Pot and allow apple butter to cool.
Spoon into jars and store in refrigerator for up to 1 week; or freeze for up to a year.
SLOW COOKER INSTRUCTIONS:Add peeled, cored, sliced apples to slow cooker. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, stirring every couple of hours.Blend apples with immersion blender or blender. Add all remaining ingredients except for the water. (You only need the water for the Instant Pot recipe.)Cook on low for an additional 5 to 6 hours, stirring occasionally.

Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter , room temperature
2/3 cup + 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 cups + 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
Mix all ingredients until a soft dough forms. Roll into balls about the size of a ping pong ball and place on a nonstick cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes. If you want them to be flat like we did, just press them with a fork before baking. ????????
