How To make Apple Maple Caramel Cream Pie
1 single pie crust
2 tbsp lightly salted butter
2 lb golden delicious apples
peel/core/sliced
1/2 c light brown sugar :
packed
1 can evaporated milk
1 egg yolk
1/3 c maple syrup
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c heavy cream
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Roll pastry on well-floured board into 12-inch circle. Brush off any excess flour. Transfer to 9-inch pie pan; trim to 1/2-inch overhang. Crimp to form stand-up edge. Prick bottom of dough all over with fork. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
Heat oven to 450. Line dough with aluminum foil; fill with dried beans or pie weights. Bake for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350. Bake for 10 minutes more. Remove foil and beans. Bake until crust is golden, about 15 minutes. Cool on rack.
Heat butter in large skillet. Add apples and sugar; cook, stirring, until apples are very tender and thickely glazed, 15-20 minutes. Cool to room temperature.
Heat milk in saucepan until bubbles appear around edge of pan. Whisk yolk, syrup, cornstarch and vanilla in bowl until smooth. Gradually whisk in milk. Return mixture to saucepan. Stir over low heat until thickened. Remove saucepan from heat; whisk for 1 minute.
Spoon apples into crust. Top with hot maple mixture; smooth top. Cool to room temperature. Refrigerate until custard is firm, about 1hour. Beat cream in bowl until soft peaks form. Beat in sugar and cinnamon until firm peaks form. To serve, decorate with whipped cream.

INGREDIENTS AND INSTRUCTIONS
1 9 BAKED PIE CRUST(YOUR OWN FAVORITE OR MINE FROM MY VERY FIRST VIDEO)
1 CAN DULCE DE LECHE.(YOU MAY BE ABLE TO PURCHASE IT FROM AN HISPANIC MARKET OR AS I DO-PLACE A CAN OF CONDENSED MILK IN A PAN WITH WATER TO COVER AND BOIL GENTLY FOR 3 HOURS.LET COOL ,STIR AND USE.
8 OZ. CREAM CHEESE AT ROOM TEMP.
1/4 CUP CONF.SUGAR
2 1/2 CUPS HEAVY OR WHIPPING CREAM
1/4 CUP SUGAR
BEAT CREAM CHEESE WITH 1/2 CUP DULCE DE LECHE AND SET ASIDE.
IN A LARGE CHILLED BOWL(AND WHIP OR BEATERS)
WHIP THE COLD HEAVY CREAM AND SUGAR UNTIL STIFF PEAKS FORM
.PUT ASIDE 1/2 CUP FOR TRIM.
FOLD THE CARAMEL CREAM INTO THE WHIPPED CREAM.
NOW ,LET'S PUT IT ALL TOGETHER.
SAVE 1-2 TBSP. DULCE FOR TRIM.
SPREAD THE REST IN THE BOTTOM OF THE COOLED PIE CRUST..
TOP WITH CARAMEL CREAM MIXTURE.
TRIM WITH RESERVED WHIPPED CREAM AND DRIZZLE WITH THE DULCE.(IF IT SEEMS TOO SOLID ,YOU CAN BRIEFLY HEAT IN THE MICROWAVE -BUT YOU DON'T WANT IT TO MELT THE WHIPPED CREAM.)
CHILL FOR AT LEAST 4 HOURS. THAT GIVES THE CREAM CHEESE TIME TO FIRM UP THE FILLING.

I haven't seen this on YouTube at all. Its easy to make and came out very good. I have heard of many cream pies but never an apple one.
A nice change from your traditional apple pie. I am sure family and friends will be asking you for the recipe .With Thanksgiving just around the corner it would be nice change. Try it.....I think you will like it. If you make it let me know what you think!
Recipe:
You will need one 8 graham cracker crust
Other Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups of regular milk
One 5.1 oz. box of Instant Vanilla Pudding
Caramel Apple Flavor Bomb - recipe below
1 1/2 cups of heavy cream
1 tbsp. caramel sauce
1/4 cup (more or less to your liking) candied chopped pecans
2 tsp vanilla
INGREDIENTS FOR APPLE FLAVOR BOMB:
One 17 oz. jar of Apple Butter
3/4 cup of Caramel Sauce
1 tbsp. apple pie spice (see my video on how to make it)
