EASY Slow Cooker Beef and Beans
In this easy cooking video, I make some beef and bean soup in my crock pot, or slow cooker. The ingredients I used in my easy crockpot recipe are a beef chuck roast, a 20 oz bag of bean soup mix, 4 carrots, and 7 1/2 cups of water. I seasoned my beef and beans with onion powder, kosher salt, and Johnny's Seasoned Pepper to taste. The cooking time is 6 hours on high or 8-10 hours on low. Ron's Dutch Oven Beans
Ron Reed demonstrates how to make a traditional cowboy beans. In the summers, Ron cooks at the old chuckwagon in front of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. Watch him make his delicious Dutch oven open-fire beans. This what the cooks on the old trail rides used to make, and what tasted good then still tastes good now.
You could take this recipe on your next camping trip, and if you do, you won't regret it!
