Ingredients

cup
butter, or margarine, softened
3/4
cup
sugar 1 ea egg
1
cup
banana, mashed
2
cup
flour, all-purpose
2
teaspoon
baking powder
4
teaspoon
baking soda
2
teaspoon
salt 1 c pecans, chopped (or walnuts)
1/2
cup
chocolate chips, (or more if desired)
1/2
cup
buttermilk
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. Cream butter and sugar. Mix in
egg and banana. Stir together flour, baking powder,
baking soda, salt, nuts and chocolate chips. Add this
mixture to creamed mixture alternately with
buttermilk. Stir until just blended. Pour batter into
a greased and floured loaf pan (9x5x3 inches). Bake
for 65 minutes, or until bread tests done. Cool in pan
for about 5 minutes, then turn out on a wire rack.

Banana bread recipe with chocolate chips is one of the favorite kind of banana breads for many of us.
In this easy banana bread recipe, we use very basic ingredients which are most likely already in your pantry and we use no special equipments to make this moist banana bread.
We use very ripe bananas for making this banana bread.If you want to swap chocolate chips for nuts you can use some chopped walnuts or pecans instead.And to add some flavor you can add some cinnamon powder if you wish.
When we use the chemical leaveners in the right amount and using the gentle folding method while mixing, we will get The Best,soft and fluffy Chocolate chip banana bread.
This chocolate chip banana bread batter can be prepared in less than 10 minutes.
The method of making this chocolate chip banana bread is so simple.
Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt ;and keep it aside.
Then into medium bowl add in the bananas and mash them.

Add in the melted butter,sugar,yogurt,eggs,vanilla extract.
combine everything to form a homogenous mixture.
Now add in the dry ingredients and mix them together gently.

Chocolate Banana Bread
The most delicious chocolate banana bread ( or cake ) ever. In Canada we call it banana “ bread “ simply because it’s baked in a loaf pan but it’s definitely cake to me ???? I tried to lighten the ingredients up and use healthier alternatives but feel free to make any substitutions necessary. It is so moist and another one bowl wonder. You will need:

3 ripe bananas
3/4 cup coconut sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/3 cup avocado oil ( or any )
1/4 cup nut milk ( or any )
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa/cacao
1.5 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
handful choc-chips

Please note : I used plant-based chocolate chips, as well as plant-based milk. Feel free to use any you love. Walnuts are so good in here as well but it’s up to you

Pre-heat oven to 375F. In a big bowl mash the bananas , and add in your wet ingredients + sugar. Stir and add in the cacao , flour , and baking soda. Pour it out onto a loaf pan lined with parchment paper to ensure your bread does not stick. Shake the loaf pan a little bit to distribute your batter and bake for 40 to 45 minutes depending on your oven. A toothpick should come out clean. You can let it cool and enjoy. We like to wrap it nicely after it’s cooled and leave it on the counter as it doesn’t last us long. Enjoy, and follow me for more.
