The Best Appetizer: Bacon Cheese Puff Pastry Pinwheels
I’m not the person who believes that everything’s better with bacon. But I came across this idea one day when I was craving a BLT and I didn’t have all the ingredients I needed (plus I had some extra time) - so you’re welcome! Now I may not be an “everything’s better with bacon person” but I am a puff pastry person.
Cheddar and Bacon Puff Pastry
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F/200 degrees C.
Using a small bowl, cut 9 circles out of the puff pastry sheet.
Cut the Cheddar cheese in 9 cubes. Put one cube on each puff pastry circle and completely wrap it in it. Round the pastry into a ball.
Wrap each puff pastry ball in a slice of bacon.
Cook in the oven for 15 minutes.
Serve with your favorite hot sauce.

Cheese and Bacon Puff Pastry
Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan. Add bacon and cook it until light golden brown.
Spread the Cheddar cheese, bacon and spring onion on half of the puff pastry. Roll it up and put it in a sandwich maker for 1 minute.
Enjoy it with your favorite dipping sauce.
