How To make Banana Walnut Upside Down Cake
Topping 1 cup golden brown sugar
packed
1/4 cup unsalted butter
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1/4 cup walnuts :
coarsely chopped
4 large ripe bananas, peeled & cut diagonally 1/4 inch
slices Cake 1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup sugar
6 tablespoons unsalted butter :
room temperature
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
6 tablespoons milk
sweetened whipped cream -- optional
For topping: Preheat oven to 325. Combine sugar and butter in heavy medium saucepan; stir over low heat until butter melts and mixture is well blended. Pour into a 9" diameter cake pan with 2" high sides. Spread to coat bottom of pan. Pour maple syrup over sugar mixture. Sprinkle nuts evenly over. Place banana slices in concentric circles on nuts, overlapping slightly and covering bottom.
For cake: Stir flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in medium bowl to blend. Beat sugar and butter in another medium bowl until creamy. Add egg and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy. Beat in flour mixture alternately with milk in 3 additions. Spoon batter over bananas. Bake until tester inserted into center of cake comes out clean, about 55 minutes.
Transfer cake to rack. Run knife around pan sides. Cool cake on rack for 30 minutes. Place a plate over pan; invert cake. Let stand 3 minutes, then gently lift off the pan. Serve warm with whipped cream.

ほろ苦♡カラメルバナナケーキ | Banana Upside Down Cake
バター生地の方が多分カラメルには合うと思いつつも使うバターの
量が多いので悩みました。
なのでスポンジ生地に多めの溶かしバターを
混ぜ込んでカラメルバナナケーキを焼いてみました。
粗熱も取れて数時間後に室温で食べるのが私のおススメ!
生地がふわふわでほろ苦カラメルバナナが乗っていて、、ここに
バニラアイスがあったらもうそれは最強~♡
ダイエットの敵ですね、、、ちーーーん!
トッピングのフルーツを変えれば色んなケーキにアレンジ出来て
おうちカフェする人はぜひ一品に加えてください。

【Ingredients】5.9inch (15cm)round Cake Pan
50g granulated sugar
1tbsp water
1tbspHot water
2 Bananas
1Egg(large)(room temperature)
40g granulated sugar
50g Cake flour
40gMelted butter
*butter(as needed)
【Directions】
①Preheat oven to 338 °F/170℃ and butter a 5.9inch (15cm) round cake pan and set aside.
②In a small saucepan, add the suger and water, allow sugar to cook until it begins to brown.
③turn off the heat and add hot water.
④Pour caramel sauce into cake pan and place the bananas onto the pan.
⑤Crack an egg into a bowl and add suger.
Egg and confectioner's sugar with mixer for 3 minutes until light and fluffy.
⑥Add shifted cake flour. Mix it with a rubber spatula.
⑦Add Melted butter, mix
⑧pour cake batter into cake pan, smooth the top to spread evenly.
⑨Bake it for 28 min at 338 °F/170℃
⑩Let cool for 30 minutes.
Invert cake onto a plate.
with ice cream on top!
【材料】15cm 丸型
グラニュー糖 50g
水 大さじ1
お湯 大さじ1
バナナ 2本
卵 1個(L) 室温
グラニュー糖 40g
薄力粉 50g
溶かしバター 40g
*バター(分量外)
【作り方】
①オーブンは170℃に温めておく。
型にはバターを塗っておく。
②鍋に砂糖と水を入れカラメル色になるまで中火にかける。
(色が付き始めるとあっという間なので、焦がさないように気を付ける)
③カラメル色になったら火からおろしてお湯を加える。
④これを①の型に流し入れ、バナナのスライスを置く。
(バナナはカットした面を下にして置くと見た目が綺麗に出来ます)
⑤ボウルの卵を割り入れ、砂糖を加えてハンドミキサーで白っぽく
もったりふわふわになるまで約3分くらい立てる。
⑥薄力粉をふるって加え、ゴムベラで混ぜる。
⑦ここに溶かしバターを加えて混ぜる。
バターの量が多いので生地を人すくいしてバターと混ぜてから
ボウルにもどして混ぜるようにすると混ぜやすい。
⑧型に生地を流し入れ上を平らにする。
⑨170℃に温めたオーブンで28分焼く。
⑩型ごと30分ほど冷ます。
お皿にひっくり返して出来上がり!
バニラアイスがとてもよく合います。
*お皿に移すときに型の隙間から覗いてみてカラメルが緩いようなら少し冷蔵庫に入れて冷やすようにすると、カラメルが少し固まって、お皿に返すとちょうどいい感じになります。
*ケーキはバターを多めに使っているので、冷蔵庫で冷やすと生地が
しまって固くなります。
固めもまた美味しいですが、ふわふわが好みの方は粗熱が取れて冷めてから室温で食べてみてください。
気温が高くなる季節は焼いた当日中に食べるか、冷蔵庫で保存してください。

Ingredients:
1 ½ cup of whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
2 ripe bananas
2 eggs
⅓ cup of tahini paste (can substitute for coconut oil)
½ cup of honey
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of cardamom
½ cup of chopped pistachios
½ cup of chopped dates
½ cup of yogurt
For caramelized bananas:
2 ripe bananas
⅓ cup of coconut oil
½ cup of brown sugar

UPSIDE DOWN BANANA CAKE
Upside Down Banana Cake
You will love the taste and look of caramelized bananas in this easy to make upside down banana cake recipe!
Ingredients:
For the cake batter:
2 bananas mashed
4 tbsp. of butter
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp of vanilla
1-1/2 cups of flour
2 tsp of baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup of milk
For the caramel layer:
4 tbsp. of butter
1/2 cup of raw or brown sugar
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
3 bananas sliced
Instructions:
1) In a bowl, mix together the butter and sugar, add the eggs and vanilla. Mix everything together.
2) Add the flour, baking powder and salt along with mashed bananas and milk until it comes together.
3) In a saucepan, to make the caramel layer, add the butter and raw or brown sugar, bring to a simmer and cook until your sugar has melted. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla.
4) Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Pour the sauce in the bottom of a 9 cake pan, arrange the slices of bananas over it.
5) Pour the batter over the banana and caramel layer, and bake for about 40 minutes (it might take a little more or less time depending on your oven) or until fully cooked through.
7) Allow it to cool for about 10 minutes, then invert it carefully on a platter.
8) Allow it to cool for another 30 minutes, then slice and serve! If you slice it too soon without cooling it first, it might fall apart easily.
