How To make Betty Crocker's Pot Roast with Sour Cream Gra
2 tb Flour
1 t Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
2 1/2 lb Beef chuck pot roast
1 tb Shortening
1/4 c Water
1 tb Vinegar
1 t Dill weed
5 sm Potatoes, pared
5 Carrots, quartered
1/2 ts Salt
1 lb Zucchini, quartered
1/2 ts Salt
1 c Dairy sour cream
Mix flour, 1 tsp. salt & pepper; coat meat with flour mixture. Melt shortening in large skillet or Dutch oven; brown meat. Add water and vinegar. Sprinkle dill weed over meat. Cover tightly and simmer about 3 hours or until meat is tender. One hour before end of cooking time, add potatoes and carrots; season with 1/2 tsp. salt. Twenty minutes before end of cooking
time, add zucchini; season with 1/2 tsp. salt. Serve with sour cream gravy. Sour Cream Gravy: Place meat and vegetables on warm platter. Pour drippings from pan into bowl, leaving brown particles in pan. Return 1 tsp. drippings to pan. Blend in 1 tb. flour. Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Measure drippings and add water to measure 1 cup liquid. Stir in flour mixture. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir one minute. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in one cup dairy sour cream and 1 tsp. dillweed; heat through. 2 cups

Easy Crockpot Recipe: Beef Stroganoff
Hey guys, her is an easy crockpot Beef Stroganoff recipe that I worked into this week's meal plan. This recipe came from pintereset (link below) and I just changed a few things.
Beef Stroganoff:
2.5 lbs beef stew meat
Salt & Pepper to taste
2 TBS minced garlic
2 TBS dijon mustard
3 TBS Worcestershire sauce
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 small diced onion
1 1/4 cup beef broth
Directions:
Put all above ingredients in crockpot, mix, and cook on low for 8 hours.
Add in 1 cup sour cream, mix and let cook for 5 minutes on high.
Add cooked egg noodles to crockpot or serve separately, and enjoy!
If you like your sauce thicker you can mix together 1 TBS corn starch and 2 TBS cold water in a separate bowl/cup, then just stir into hot sauce.

Hearty Beef Stroganoff
This classic recipe Is so good and tonight I served it over no yolk egg noodles and it was delicious!
I think some of the best recipes are ones that remind you of people and places you miss and this one does it for me!
I think the reason I add red wine is because it’s how I remember making it for the boys I babysat in college, from their mom’s recipe. It was their family’s favorite meal!
2 lbs Beef tips or boneless chuck roast cut into strips
1 medium white onion
1 container sliced mushrooms
Canola or vegetable oil to sauté
1 tsp minced onion
1 tsp minced garlic
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 16 oz sour cream
2 tbl Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup Cabernet or any dry red wine
1/2-1 box beef broth as needed
