How To make Blackened Chicken Strips On Pasta w/Cajun Sauce
1/4 cup paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon dried fines herbes
4 chicken breast halves without skin
boneless
1 clove garlic :
minced
2 tablespoons onion minced
1 1/2 cups chicken broth :
defatted
1 tomato, peeled seeded and minced
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 tablespoon fresh herbs :
chopped
(like: oregano, basil, tarragon, marjoram) salt -- to taste 8 ounces penne pasta
To make Cajun spice, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and fines herbes. Set aside. Put the chicken breasts between 2 pieces of wax paper and pound to flatten. Moisten breasts with water and rub with Cajun spice (reserve 1/4 teaspoon for the sauce). Spray a very hot cast-iron pan with vegetable spray and then quickly fry breasts for 4 to 6 minutes, or until done. Remove breasts and slice into thin strips. Set aside. Saute garlic and onion in a small pan that has been sprayed with vegetable spray, until onion is soft. Add broth, tomato, wine, fresh herbs and 1/4 teaspoon of the Cajun spice. Simmer for 8 minutes. Season with salt to taste. Meanwhile cook pasta, drain, and place on a platter. Lay chicken on pasta and then drizzle with sauce.

How to make Cajun Blackened Chicken Alfredo. This is a very easy pasta recipe. Which one of the reasons I love making Chicken Alfredo. One, simple. When I make it I love using a mix of blackened and cajun seasoning to enhance the flavor of the chicken. Being that this is my first pasta recipe I'm posting on my channel let me know what you guys think and if I should post more pasta recipes. Enjoy!

Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta Recipe
Blackened Chicken Creamy Cajun Pasta Recipe ⬇️ This pasta has become a go-to for us because it is so delicious and easy to make in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
3-4 chicken breasts
1 box of penne noodles
3/4 cup shredded parmesan
2 Roma tomatoes, diced
1 shallot, diced
1 cup whipping cream or half & half
2 Tbsp Old Bay (any Cajun seasoning)
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp butter
1-2 Tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
Directions:
1) Pound chicken breasts into ~1/2” equal thickness with pan or meat mallet and season with Old Bay or any Cajun seasoning.
2) Bring salted water to boil in a pot and cook pasta reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining and setting pasta aside.
3) Meanwhile, set pan on medium high and add 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter. Add chicken breasts to sear both sides and then cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until chicken reaches 165°F internal. Let rest and then slice or dice chicken and set aside.
4) While chicken rests, sauté shallot, garlic, 1 tbsp butter, and tomatoes in the pan for 4-5 minutes on medium heat before adding your cream and 1 tbsp of Old Bay. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 2-3 minutes then add your parmesan. Stir sauce until it it’s thick and creamy.
5) Combine your pasta and chicken in another pan (or add directly into sauce pan) and dump sauce over top and stir to combine. If the sauce is too thick, loosen it by adding some of the pasta water you reserved and season to taste. Serve with fresh grated parmesan and parsley.
