1 c Cooked seafood, flaked 6 sl White bread 1/4 c Butter 1/4 c Cheddar or 1/3 cup ketchup -or chili sauce American cheese, grated Toast bread on one side; trim off crusts and cut bread in half. Butter un toasted sides; cover with a layer of seafood, then ketchup and top with cheese. Place canapes on a baking sheet under the broiler. Broil until the cheese is melted and the canapes are heated through. Makes 12 canapes.

Crispy shrimp canapés with cocktail sauce
Crispy shrimp canapés with cocktail sauce is the perfect appetiser to serve on special occasions when you have guests. Filled with shrimp, corn salad and boiled qu l’ eggs, these canapés are both delicious and spectacular.
Ingredients:
1 pack of Shrimp with cocktail sauce 160g Seafood Combo by Grand Krust 4 sheets of filo pastry 100 g of corn salad 8 boiled quail’s eggs salt olive oil pumpkin seeds 1 egg
Cooking method for c s with cocktail sauce
Step 1. Scald the shrimp Scald the shrimp in a pot of boiling salted water for 1 minute. When they’re ready, set them aside.
Step 2. Sauté the corn salad Next, heat some olive oil in a pan. When it’s hot, sauté the corn salad, season to taste and also set aside.
Step 3. Cut the filo pastry Cut the filo sheets into 10 by 15 cm rectangles.
Step 4. Fill the pastries Put some corn salad, shrimp and a halved quail’s egg in the middle of each rectangle.
Step 5. Close the pastries Lightly moisten the edge of the filo parcels to seal them.
Step 6. Brush the pastries Brush the parcels with some beaten egg and sprinkle with pumpkin seeds.
Step 7. Bake Bake the parcels at 170ºC until they’re golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes. When they’re ready, take them out of the oven and let them cool.
Step 8. Fill with cocktail sauce Fill a pipette with cocktail sauce. Just before serving the canapés, fill them with a little cocktail sauce.
Tips: If you don’t have a pipette, you can use a syringe.
