My FAVORITE CALICO BEANS & CRUSTY MINI LOAVES???? | Everything Bagel Seasoning Made All the Difference
Growing up Calico Beans were at every gathering and I still love me some beans to this day. Here's how I make them.
Calico Beans
1/2 pound bacon
1 pound hamburger
1 c. chopped onion
1 can each: pork and beans, butter beans, lima beans(drained), kidney beans(drained), pinto beans, garbanzo beans(drained)
1/2 c. ketchup
1 tsp. salt
1 T. vinegar
1 tsp. dry mustard
3/4 c. brown sugar
Fry bacon in large dutch oven, set aside. Drain some of the grease and then brown hamburger and onion in remaining bacon grease. Drain grease if necessary. When I use venison I never have to drain anything. Place remaining ingredients in dutch oven or crockpot. You may simmer this on the stove for a couple of hours or cook on low in crock pot until ready to serve or even in the oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes if you like.

????Have you tried eBates? I just started and my first big fat check was $14.40 and I could not be happier about it. I'm building my next big fat check - so far it's $28.34. It's super easy and I am pleasantly surprised by how many of the places I shop are affiliated with eBates. Amazon? Walmart? Tractor Supply? Kohls? They're all there waiting to give me (and you) a couple dollars back on our orders. To begin saving click this link. You will immediately get an extra $10 added to your first big fat check.
