How To make Chicken Mushroom Pie with Dill Crust
2 1/2 c Chicken; diced cooked 1 ts Steak sauce
1 c Cream of celery soup 1/2 ts Marjoram; crumbled
2 Jars Mushrooms; (2.5 oz. eac 1/2 pk Piecrust mix
1/2 c Celery; sliced 1/2 ts Dillweed
1/2 c Green pepper; diced
DIRECTIONS: Combine chicken, celery soup, mushrooms with liquid, celery, green pepper, steak sauce and marjoram in a large skillet. Heat slowly until bubbly hot, about 10 minutes. Turn into a 4-cup shallow baking dish. Prepare piecrust mix, following label directions, adding dillweed with wa- ter. Roll out to fit top of baking dish; cover pie; turn edge under, flush with rim; flute. Cut a 6-inch "X" in center of pastry. Fold corners back. Bake in a very hot oven (450^F.) for 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. -----

This chicken and mushroom is the most popular savory pie type. It is easy to make. This particular one has both the bottom and the top crust.
The filling is made of few vegetables, left over chicken or you can use rotisserie chicken breast and heavy cream. This combination makes a rich, delicious, thick and creamy sauce.

2 1/2 cups cooked chicken shredded
7 tbsp unsalted butter
1/3 cup of All Purpose Flour
1/2 medium yellow onion
1 carrot
1 cup worth of mushrooms
2 garlic cloves
1 cup of chicken stock/ broth
1/2 cup of heavy cream
Salt & pepper to taste and garnish
1 cup frozen peas
1/4 cup worth of parsley
1 egg

garlic - 2 cloves
feta cheese - 200 g (7 oz)
pressed cheese - 100 g (3.5 oz)
parsley - 20 g (0.7 oz)
eggs - 1 piece
pressed cheese - 50 g (1.76 oz)
Tray size 30 X 40 cm (12 x 16 in)
IN THE OVEN 180 °C (356 °F) /25 minutes

Kulit pie:
- 125 Gr Mentega tawar (unsalted butter)
- 250 Gr Tepung serba guna (all-purpose flour)
- 1 Butir telur (egg)
- 4-5 Sdm air dingin (4-5 Tbsp cold water)
- 2 Jumput garam (2 pinch of salt)
ISIAN :
- 1/2 Bawang bombay (onion)
- 3 Siung bawang putih (garlic)
- 3 Sosis (saussage)
- 7 Jamur putih (white mushroom)
- 1 Ikat bayam (Spinach)
- Garam lada seikhlasnya (salt & pepper, taste)
CUSTARD:
- 2 Butir telur ayam (eggs)
- 1 Kuning telur (yolk)
- 100 gr/ml susu (milk)
- 100 gr/ml cream
Ukuran loyang : 20 cm
Suhu oven : 180 c

Ingredients:
1 pie crust refrigerated
6 large eggs
3/4 cup half and half
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 cups cooked ham chopped
1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
4 tbsp scallions
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375F and place frozen pie dish into refrigerator to thaw.
2. In a large bowl, mix together eggs, half and half, salt and pepper.
3. Once the pie crust is thawed, pierce the bottom with a fork then sprinkle the ham, scallions, and 1 cup of the mozzarella and cheddar mix into the pie crust. Pour the egg mixture over the top and sprinkle the remaining cup of cheese on top.
4. Bake for 25 minutes covered then cover with aluminum foil for the remaining 10 minutes if the crust starts to brown too much.
5. Once the center is completely set, let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Hello folks!
So for tea tonight we had this delicious chicken & potato pie! Basically a creamy chicken in white sauce, toped with creamy mashed potato and cheese :) It’s so lovely…and perfect for these colder nights!

What I used - Serves 5-6
3 Chicken breasts, 10 boneless & skinless chicken thighs or fillets (poached then chopped into chunks)
200g/2 cups Sliced button Mushrooms
1 Medium size leek - sliced
1 Teaspoon minced garlic
1 Tablespoon fresh tarragon
1 Teaspoon dried sage
2 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons plain/all purpose flour
1 Heaped teaspoon English mustard
1 Heaped teaspoon wholegrain mustard
400ml/1.7 cups Chicken stock
200ml/1 cup Double or heavy cram
2 Tablespoons creme fraiche
1KG/2.2 lbs Potatoes - I used Maris Pipers
A good dash of salt
A splash of cream
A splash of milk
A tablespoon of butter
A handful of grated cheese, I used mozzarella
